They opened up the wall efficiently and as clean as possible, then took the time to evaluate not only the failed coupling, but nearby visible couplings as well. They ended up replacing several, which I feel was the right decision. I have confidence the problem is solved.
For years I've been keeping an eye on our washer valves, they were corroded and I've feared they would fail. Since I had a plumber here, I had them replace the valves with new ones for peace of mind. Later that night, I used the washer and had some water on the floor. I called Dave and Tim the next morning and they showed up that day to back-up their work. We fully tested the valves and weren't able to recreate the problem. Dave offered a theory that the sink drain may have leaked, so he tightened that. I appreciated the effort they made to locate the problem and offer a solution despite the absence of water on the floor while they were here.
