He quickly found the leaking garbage disposal, he educated me on why these units develop leaks, what little we could do about it, and what were reasonable expectation of how long they will last. He also gave me an education on the available options including cost and both pros and cons of various replacements. Once We made our decision, he did a very professional job installing the unit. (Yes you can spend a lot more money to get a unit that lasts longer.) I was comfortable with my purchase, confident of the install and will recommend Al to anyone looking for a plumber."

"Everyone wants and hopes that their renovation goes smoothly. Reality shows that isn't always the case. We have hired Bumble Bee plumbing to help with remodeling 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. Everything went well until the final bathroom. We had a leak with the shower valve that we couldn't get to stop. Mike and his team came out several times, worked with the manufacturer of the valve to get and replace several parts before it was determined that we needed a new valve installed. This meant tearing out some of the tile and cutting a hole in the wall. Nobody want to hear the news that their newly tiled shower needs to have a hole cut into it. The Bumble Bee team was there for us every step of the way. They worked tirelessly on our behalf to make sure that the shower was perfect, and that we were satisfied with their service. Hopefully your project will come together smoothly. But what a great insurance policy to know that you have a team on your side when they don't. They installed a tankless water heater and by 3 p.m. The best part was that they were be to offer to finance the job at a much lower interest rate (9%) compared to home depot (23%). "My kitchen drain had a clog that, no matter what I tried, would not break loose. It took overnight for any water in the sink to slowly seep out. I had never hired All Star Plumbing but their reviews were outstanding and the business is close to my home so I called and set up an appointment with Robert. He and Scott showed up, listened to my story then went to work. It took no time at all for Robert to pull up what looked like a very large clump of fiber. No hint as to what that was but it's gone now and my drain is working as it should. Before they left, Robert cleaned up the gunk that inevitably spills on the work area and I think it's cleaner than when he started. "I initially purchased the plumbing service for $39. I had 2 toilets that were slightly running (I did a dye test and it showed that the water from tank and bowl were leaking into each other constantly at a small rate. The tech looked at the first toilet, and after a while told me that I needed a new toilet because he could not locate the problem, which meant there must be a crack in the porcelain. He arrived the next day with a brand of toilet I have never heard of. He installed the toilet and put the old one on the curb. Then he took a look at the 2nd toilet and began telling me that this toilet needed to be replaced as well. I became a bit apprehensive because a handyman friend of mine told me that he thought I most likely did NOT need a new toilet-that it is actually very rare for someone to need to replace a toilet because of a light "running" problem. I also told the tech that this toilet was much newer and being in the Master bath, was used a lot less. He "messed around" with it some more, and told me he would come back the next day and take another look. The next day he tried to call me, but my phone was off. He showed up later in the day at the appointed time with some toilet parts, and told me that he had called earlier in the day to see if I wanted the new toilet that was a "really good deal and was on sale that day. Long story, short, he found the problem was in the water tank and he replaced a rubber part and it was fixed. Of course between this, my friend's words I wondered if maybe I really didn't need the expense of the new toilet...
The tech was very nice, spent a lot of time going and coming. The time he spent and returns he made would have been astronomical with most other plumbers, and so I appreciated that. Whether I really needed a new toilet, or what brand this toilet is and why it didn't come with any sort of "manual" or warranty is a bit scary...The $39 deal became a $340.00 experience-the 2 toilets do not run....but at an honest expense? Not sure.
