"They were amazing. I had a problem with the water turning off and then it completely stopped on a Saturday. I had called a well known well service company whoâ s said he would send a team out and they would take care of it. Then men showed up around 3 pm on Saturday and decided they would come back on Sunday at 9 am. I spoke with the owner and said it was okay, but the owner said he felt his men just didnâ t have what they needed. Sunday at 9, the team did not show up. In fact I didnâ t hear from anyone or see the team until 3 that afternoon. The team worked to pull the pump out for about 30 minutes. They told me they were unable to get the submersible out because it had broken in the well and they needed to get some wire. They would possibly have to put an above ground pump on to get me water in the house. I didnâ t know any better and said okay. They said they would be back on Monday at 3. When they left I texted to owner. Never heard back from him. Monday morning I called and texted the owner to let him know what time I would be home. I arrived by 3 and waited until after 6 for the team to arrive. They never did. I called and texted the owner again trying to find out what happened. On Tuesday, I still hadnâ t heard back and that is when I found. Hustle 2Flow. Plumbing. They were a true blessing. They came out Tuesday evening and assessed job. After 15 minutes he w as able to pull the submersible pump out. Again, the other company said they could not pull the pump out. Hustle2Flow plumbing returned Wednesday and worked to get water on, it even started to rain and they kept going. While installing the well they took the time to educate me on a few things to make sure I understood the job, new features and how to even clean the aerators. The job was finished yesterday and today they even texted to check on the service. This business was professional and caring. This is how business should work. I canâ t say enough positive things about them. Thank you again Hustle2Flow Plumbing!"

"Got to the root of the problem, and did thorough repair work. We worked with him for about a week but not once, did he show up when he said he would. Also, he did a poor job communicating the work being done and the cost. We foot the cost for his disorganization and unpreparedness, which was very frustrating. However, he ultimately got the job done and done well."

"I called Crawlspace Doctor and the representative came and inspected our space later that day. I had received a strong recommendation on this co. from a friend. Our National termite control company had told us we needed some remedial work. The Crawlspace rep quoted me a price that day which was about 1/2 of the termite company for the same general work scope. I said to go ahead. Completely satisfied with the service."

FAQs for well pump repair or service projects in Aiken, SC

A standard well inspection begins with a visual inspection of the pump, casing, storage tank, and wiring, followed by flow rate tests and laboratory-based water sampling. The goal is to confirm that every part meets safety standards and to identify any necessary repairs before they become expensive. An inspector will also test your water quality for substances such as volatile organic compounds and any local containment concerns.

Book a licensed, insured well specialist for your inspection. Many well‑pump contractors also hold inspection credentials. They’ll bring the right tools to assess the pump, wiring, and water quality, and provide you with a clear report on any necessary fixes. Before you hire, confirm their license, insurance, and recent customer reviews.

Plan on a full well inspection every year. You’ll also want one any time the cap comes off, after septic repairs, or if flooding occurs. Annual tests look for total and fecal coliform; every two years, the lab should screen for metals and nitrates, and every five years for VOCs and pesticides. If you’re buying a home with a private well, it’s essential to schedule a pre-purchase inspection.

With routine care, most wells supply clean water for up to 40 years. Lifespan depends on the type and how well you protect it. To help it reach the maximum lifespan, keep hazardous products far from the casing, ensure the cap stays sealed, schedule yearly inspections, and address problems as soon as they appear. Good habits keep the system healthy and the water safe.

The average cost of well repairs ranges from $100 to $2,800. Your final bill depends on which part—pump, pressure tank, casing, or piping—needs attention and the level of complexity involved in the repair. A thorough inspection identifies the problem, allowing you to budget accurately and avoid paying for unnecessary parts or services.
