"Amos did the work for me and he was courteous and polite throughout my estimate and when completing the job. He removed two pairs of outdoor shutters and two outdoor light fixtures that were on my house and replaced them with new shutters and new light fixtures. He was done earlier than expected, and everything looked nice and the light fixtures worked. I was more than pleased. He cleaned up and threw away the old materials and gave me materials he thought I should hang onto. I would recommend him if you’re looking for a handyman in this area. "The work was completed swiftly and with exceptional attention to detail. Jaime replaced the section of rotted board and checked the structure underneath it to make sure there wasn't more damage. He then covered the entire board beneath our door with composite wood to protect it from water dripping from our roof overhang. On the second job he installed white vynil soffit panels under the window overhang after capping and sealing the overhang. He took great care to run our TV/internet cable in inside the j-channel trim so that it is no longer hanging down and accessible to critters nibbling on it. Jaime is someone who is knowledgeable, honest and sharing. He quickly answered questions we might have had about the projects and anything else that might be on our minds regarding our home. We would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone and when we need his services againwe will absolutely call him."

"They painted the front porch no problem and looked great.  However the back fence in the contract stated "power wash, prime, and stain".  Well, they power washed, and then put a "primer and paint in one" on, just one coat, and it looked awful.  My wife called me incredibly upset saying it looked terrible, and we have the pictures to prove it.  The painters said we were only getting one coat and if we wanted another coat it was going to cost more.  
Furious, I called the person who did the estimate, sent him the pictures, and he understood what was happening and directed the crew to apply the second coat, as the contract said they would do.  I was so angry that I had to take time to make them do what the contact said they would do.  No one would have ever looked at their finished product after one coat and said "well, that's done and it looks great, glad our name is on it."  They were perfectly willing to leave with it looking terrible.  This is why I rated them so low on professionalism.  
In the end, things did work out, the quality of the final product was good, the manager was responsive and did the right thing, but the crew that came out couldn't have cared less.  On the review here it asks if I would use them again, and I wish there was a "maybe".  I think if we do use them again, I'll have to take a vacation day off work and supervise them closely to see that they do exactly what the agreed upon contract states."

"Easy transaction. Bought promotion through Angie's List. Since factory is in Indianapolis, I showed up there and left the old pads with them. Got a call to go pick the new ones up after a couple of weeks. They are beautiful. I am quite pleased."

"I removed old carpet and padding from the living and dining rooms. The hardwood flooring had beautiful grain and character, but also a lot of damage. Some of the wood grain was raised and there were a lot of stains, some of which were black. I thought it might be a lost cause, but contacted Teppo Interiors through Angie's List for an opinion on refinishing and an estimate.
Kevin Teppo described the process and what results I could realistically expect. It wasn't a lost cause, but it would not be like new either. He was more optimistic about the results than I. He pointed out the crack in the ceiling and that there was no quarter-round on the woodwork, both of which his crew could take care of. There was no pressure to sign or up-selling. I appreciated that.
They were able to start on the job earlier than expected, which was perfect. I removed everything from both rooms.
Evening before sanding: They taped and plastered the ceiling crack. I applied two coats of paint. That was not expected of me but I had the time. It was one less thing for them to do the next morning.
Day 1: Three man crew arrived on time, sanded the floors and applied the walnut stain. I was warned about the fumes, so I boarded my dog for this time frame. The doorways were sealed with plastic to keep the fumes contained as well as possible.
Day 2-4: Sanding and a coat of polyurethane, 3 coats total. The crew arrived on time and were very efficient and polite.
Day 5: Quarter-round was installed. They moved the dining room table and TV stand back into the rooms. Job complete.
