Pete responded promptly to my initial inquiry, came out ASAP to provide an estimate on the cracked step (and on a bigger "dream" project I've been thinking about), explained what had likely caused the damage, and gave me several options for either replacing the step just as it had been, or upgrading a little bit depending on my price range. His recommendations were good, and we didn't feel pressured at all, but the full reshaping of the step into a rounded one was a bit outside our budget so we took him up on enlarging it by several inches instead. Overall, Pete was friendly and professional, and had that air of experienced competence that you look for in someone doing work on your house. I didn't even bother getting a second estimate. I did, however, call a good friend who has worked in the brick industry for years, and he assured me that the price Pete quoted was right in line with what he would expect for my project if you want it done right. When I gave Pete the green light, he scheduled the work promptly, showed up in the morning on time a few days later, and knocked the whole project out by that same afternoon. Put simply, the step looks great. It was done promptly, in line with our budget and at the price Pete originally quoted, and our whole experience with him was easy and hassle-free. The new brick color is matched perfectly with the old brick (absent a decade of wear and tear obviously), as is the cement, and it is clearly quality construction. In sum, I would highly recommend PK Masonry to anyone, and I will definitely use him again if I can ever convince my wife to let me pull the trigger on that dream project I've been thinking about..."

"John came out to meet with us on a Sat evening as this is a vacation cabin and were only in town that weekend. He showed us that he was insured and licensed. Identifed the most critical trees to remove. Gave me a fair price as these were 50' + oaks and one pine. I was expecting about $400 per tree and the total price also included chopping up an additional tree already on the ground. When I returned to the cabin the following weekend after the work, trees were gone, no damage to house, deck or ground. They did an excellent job and i will use Treemanns again as needed."

"Bruce and his son, Matthew, did a good job on this replacement project. They gave me several options for door types and explained our options for doing the work. Because the door size was a special order I agreed to pay their door vendor directly so all they were responsible for was the labor. It took a week or so for the door to arrive. They picked it up, brought it over an quickly had it in place. They even painted the exterior for us. Very well done. Since then I have hired Bruce for several other small projects around the house and each one has been handled professionally and with a smile. He's our Handyman now!"

"John Robillard and Sam Morlett did a fantastic job remodeling my garage into a home entertainment room. They completely changed the outside on the home so that one couldn't even tell there were ever garage doors there. There are no left over garage squares. Just two new windows and shutters with new siding that looks like the builder built the wall with the home new. Inside they dry walled the inside, made fan and new power outlets. They took off the garage entry door and widen the entry to make it an entrance space just like one into any other room. Also they create larger, safer steps into the new space. Now of course we still have to wood or carpet and paint it. But my family is very happy to have this new space for the kids after downsizing. We knew we would not have it if we did not do it right when we moved in. Sam and John were always on time, flexible and super nice. I would highly re come them for any home improvement job. They just built a brand new deck for one of my very good friends last month too that he absolutely loves. They too are talking about having John and Sam do their garage and built a new garage next to it! <br />"

They basically had the shower, take the old shower out . Then they had the city come inspect and make sure it's up to code."

"It didn't go because I was unsure about timing and our plans. Since our plans are so unsettled at this time, I couldn't make definite plans about anything. It seems like our plans and needs change daily. We are talking about a third person moving in with us, he has pets, we are looking at moving to another home in the area, or out of the area, a town away from here or just staying put. "First introduction to 1 Roof Atlanta was a "storm chaser". We had a recent hail storm and a rep showed up at our door to offer a damage assessment. <br /> We had considered calling someone after the extensive local storm, but had not pursued it. I was leery of anyone just showing up at the door, but the rep demonstrated his expertise and finesse when he scheduled an appointment with our insurance company on the spot. <br /> On the date of the insurance review, 1 Roof Atlanta's rep spent considerable time with our adjustor. The result was a check on the spot for replacement of the roofing material, less depreciation. (Depreciation would be funded upon completion of a completed work receipt under our "replacement cost" policy terms.) <br /> The work crew that showed for the job arrived bright and early, but their start was put off by a 2 hour rain. They waited patiently to start. I was concerned that the job would be hurried by the delay, but the crew worked diligently well past when I expected they would otherwise leave, finishing up in the dusk. <br /> The finished job was near flawless and better than I had hoped for. There were some nails left in the gutter and garden bed, since clean up had been problematic in the dark. They returned to clean things up. <br /> Subsequent work two months later, when a pine tree fell on our house during a storm, was equally up to snuff. <br /> Bottom line, I recommend 1 Roof Atlanta and Jeremy Durell for anyone's roofing requirements."
