"My experience with Windows U.S.A. was GREAT, we loved Manny! He ran late, but we received a call telling us that. He came, he was thorough, knowledgeable and just a joy to have as the person completing our quote. The only downfall was that we had to make a decision THAT DAY in order to get the Memorial Day special. We would have definitely purchased from them but we felt pressured, we had no time to discuss the big purchase before making it. Manny is THE BEST, the urgency of purchasing was not good!!!"

"Subcontractors were mostly good, but management of them was lacking. I had to personally supervise them because the on site contractor rarely stayed very long. Told the trim finish crew to leave because they did not know how to install crown molding. Got another crew that knew what they were doing. They never asked for periodic payments during the job (as is typical); presented one huge bill at the end. Holland homes builds nice homes, but I would not recommend them for small jobs like mine because you do not get the best crews and you have to wait for them to fit you into their schedule."

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"Excellent windows, good price, prompt, courteous.  Excellent customer service overall.  Came back and reinstalled one that my husband thought wasn't level.  I didn't, and the window man didn't, but he reinstalled it anyway to be sure.  Can't beat that in my opinion.  Would recommend anytime. <br />"

"Excellent and professionalism all the way.  If you order the double hung windows I would suggest ordering full screens to go with them.  I plan to open both the top and bottom parts of the windows simultaneously and the full window screen will come in handy for that.  <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Albertville, AL

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
