"The person who scheduled this for me got the day wrong, so the worker did not arrive until the next day.  That worked out okay, however, as I was available then.  The young man who installed the windshields was very competent and professional.  He even remembered to put my service date stickers in the new windshields. <br />"

"It went very well, better than I thought it would. The men informed me of what they were doing all the way along. They asked me questions about what I wanted and listened to me very closely. They did a little extra without charging me. They gave me the best price for the most work they could. Their work was very good, my windows were beautiful . I was very glad I had called them . It was the first time I had my windows professionally cleaned, and at the first sight of Spring I will call them again. The price was very reasonable. <br />"

"I needed to replace 4 exterior doors. The doors had security screen doors installed several years after the doors were originally installed. Two companies that I contacted stated that they would not reinstall the screen doors and I would have to find someone to reinstall them. Accent Southwest came and stated that since their door frames are custom made they would be able to design the doors to allow the screen doors to be reinstalled. The sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful. He sent me detailed drawings showing what the final product would look like before I committed to the purchase. The company was excellent with communicating the steps involved and setting up the install schedule and time line. Antonio and Adrian did an excellent installation. They were very thorough, courteous and respected our concerns. It was definitely worth paying the higher price to get the excellent outcome."

"This company did a remarkable job, both in walking me through the choices (more than I've seen anywhere else) and installing the bars. The doors are aligned perfectly. The screening is secure yet unobtrusive. The house feels more safer, yet the bars, an original design, are beautiful, and the powder coat finish adds interest. The doors work smoothly. Great company, and I'd hire them again."

"My Window Man did a great job cleaning my windows, they look very nice. They only accept cash and/or check so be prepared to have exact change as they will not provide change. I paid $250.00 for a $244.87 invoice as they could not provide $5.13 in change. No Venmo or other electronic methods of payments an option."

"As we were having all of our windows replaced (and the sliding glass patio door too), we had taken down all of the HD window coverings and installation tabs prior to the window replacement job.  Two of our HD coverings needed cord replacement, so we dropped them off at Emerson's repair office in the All about Blinds shop on Osuna.  After the windows and sliding door unit were replaced, Emerson was here the next day to re-install all of our previous HD window coverings and install the new door curtain.  The job was done promptly and professionally.  Both Susan and Elaine were very helpful in helping us choose the new door curtain and in coordinating the install date and time.  Elaine was even here when the window installers came to measure, and confirmed with them that the old HD window support tabs would need to be removed.  She said that if we had problems removing the support tabs, that Emerson could do that for us.  Fortunately, the removal process was straightforward enough for us to do by ourselves. All in all, it was a well coordinated effort and a professional install. <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Albuquerque, NM

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
