He also had a great experience, so when we were preparing to list my husbands home and found ourselves needing to replace a deck roof that started leaking and replace some trim, we went straight to HGE. This time has been a terrible experience. Our project manager was different and just horrible. The crews cancelled on him more than once, his communication was severely lacking, and the work was subpar, far below our previous experiences. Big disappointment. "It went great. I loved that I did not have to follow him around to make sure he was staying busy and that he NOTICED stuff. (He was the one who noticed the exterior flood light was broken, and the one that offered to replace the porch light cover.) I initially hired him because he was the only handyman I contacted who could make it out in less than a week and I was concerned about the water. I'll hire him again because he does great work and works quickly."

"Gino @ Redline did several repair and upkeep jobs for us, including installing a new kitchen faucet, replacing the ballcock in the toilet tank, installing a new door knob, among other help. He was professional, reliable, courteous, got the jobs done. He even went above and beyond when we had issues with a fridge install (different company): he came back free of charge to help us move our heavy kitchen island to make space for moving the fridge. We offered a tip, but he declined that, too. To top it off, he told us to call him when it's time to move the island back. I highly recommend him."

"Mike and Jim were wonderful. Mike handled the interior project and Jim handled the exterior project. Very easy to work with. We had issues with the contract initially and getting the project moving because there was a change in Project management. But Jim the Owner was very generous to make things right once he took over the project. Schedule was done consistently to completion and we had a few cracked tiles after completion and they quickly came back to correct them. No issues now 1 year later. We love all they did. Quality is very good. I would recommend them to anyone now that Jim took over the project management. We purchased the door and tile ourselves so this is not in the cost of service."

"This the second time I've worked with Jason, He replaced windows on the second floor and installed sofia and fascia on  front and back porch back in 2012. Did a great job and cost me only 10K. So I used him again on a bigger project, new kitchen and downstairs bathroom as well as replace the ceiling in the living room. I did the demo on kitchen and bathroom myself to save some bucks, but he came in laid everything out and how long the project would take. He started on time and as we moved through the construction, I made several changes which he accommodated without issue and gave me a clear price adjustment on the additional services. He brought everything up to code in both bath and kitchen and his plumber and electrician were there on time to keep project on schedule. Start to finish was 4-5 weeks. This was my daughter's house and I plan to use him for my kitchen remodel next year.
Price was great and affordable (22K) and his crew were all great guys.
If your getting quotes, get one from this guy, by far cheaper than most contractors.

He did an absolute wonderful job showing me what the issues were underneath the trim, telling me options, even consulted a builder friend of his to confirm the best possible solution. The final result was spectacular and you can tell the care and pride he takes in his work. He was transparent with pricing and what he was going to do, and he asked me several times my opinion about the the work to be done and the appearance. He also arrived when he said he would and completed the work carefully but efficiently . He will be my go to person from now on if we need any handyman services in our home. I can't say enough about how pleased we are. He's also a very nice and personable individual."
