"Unexpected weekend emergency with my 1 and a 1/2 year old garage door cables. New home construction. 1 cable became slack & came off track. The door was cockeyed & non functioning. I called the original installers who mentioned my 1 year warranty was expired. Their emergency service charge & 2 hour minimum seemed a bit much for me. I called 2 other companies whose voice mail recording stated they were full & I could not leave a message. Searching on line for a repair company, I saw Matty's, who was just over an hour away from me. With nothing to lose at this point, I contacted Matthew. Explained the situation & sent pictures at his request. He said he could be there in 2 hours, knowing at least over 1 hour was drive time. Matthew showed up on time & immediately diagnosed the problem. He painstakingly made all the necessary repairs & adjustments. Matthew went above & beyond my expectations at a most reasonable price. "Excellent service. Professional - the person that gave the quote explained everything very clearly. The Installer (garage door opener and replacement of some parts on the actual door) was excellent and thorough. Tech cleaned up the wiring that was there and added some reinforcements. The previous door had not been installed very well. (Handyman special maybe?) There was an issue with the new opener kicking the breaker so I had to get an electrician our before I could use it. I went from 1/2 horse to 3/4 horse, which the electrician said I didn't I need due to size of door- 1 car small garage. I had no idea what I really "needed". I would recommend company though I think they are a bit pricey (But generally you get what you pay for.) and I maybe should have researched horse power needs before committing."

He was very thorough in giving an accessment for the future owner to know what would be need on one of the garage doors. I kept informantion to pass on to new owner of this house. "I had a manual garage door and wanted an opener installed. I didn't know if my existing garage door could be used or if I needed a new door. I submitted the estimate request through Angi. Pro doors was quick to call me to discuss what I wanted and to schedule a time to look at my door. There scheduling was great with appointment reminders and they were good to call of they were running behind. I met with the owner and he assured me an opener would work with my existing door. I talked about wanting a wifi enabled opener which is not something they carry. The owner checked the local stores and they did have a wifi chamberlain model in stock which he offered to get and install for me. This was very nice. We agreed he would install the next day. They install went great only taking a few hours. I was very happy with the cost and quality of the install."

"Garage door wouldn't open when I touched the button and couldn't figure out why.  After doing a visual inspection I figured out that the spring had broke in two.  I immediately went to angieslist to look for a garage door company and found Local Garage Door.  They had a coupon for preventative maintenance that included a spring replacement for $179.00 and I immediately called them.   To my surprise the could come out the same day between 1pm and 3pm, the technician was here at 1pm.  It took the tech about an hour and he was done, the grage door never sounded so good.  It used to be noisy and have metal against metal noises, now you can just hear the garage door motor running.  The tech was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable about what needed to be performed.  
In regards to price, yes the coupon was for $179 and I did pay $300 but that was because I needed to change out both springs and one spring cost $125 and the coupon is only good for one spring.
