He took a look at my problem and quickly came up with my options for repairing or replacing my faucets. Based on the age of the faucets I elected to have them replaced. The work was quickly completed. I thought the cost was fair for the work performed"

"I hired them to replace all of the polybutylene piping in our house. The very young crew, led by a 19 year old, made a lot of mistakes. After they left, I discovered that they failed to connect a faucet in the kitchen sink, reversed hot and cold in the shower, left interior pipes exposed under a slop sink, and unnecessarily cut into and marked a wall searching for pipes that were not there. To their credit they reduced my bill for the unnecessary damage. They were to return the next day to complete the work for the upstairs bath. I canceled this and asked the company to send a more experienced crew. The second crew was also young but much better. They corrected all of the plumbing mistakes from the first crew and even cleaned up the stains on the wall left by a sharpie. At the end of the second day, I thought all was complete. I later discovered that an outside faucet was overlooked. I contacted the company and they quickly dispatched a crew, the 19 year old again, who quickly reattached the spigot. My impression was that they were using younger and less experienced plumbers to hold costs down. That would have been okay if properly supervised by an experienced plumber who would have checked to see that faucets were working properly and that the installation was done in a professional manner. I would use another company in the future."

"Todd was extremely responsive and called to schedule an in-home estimate the moment I clicked "request a quote" on the Angie's List site. He provided an estimate for both quartz and granite. I then went to their showroom to choose the quartz I wanted (and the sink and faucet) and to schedule the measuring. The laser measuring of my kitchen was very cool. Then the installation was scheduled--counters, sink, and faucet--and it all went very smoothly--even with a run to Home Depot by the plumber for a fitting. I really like that they contract the plumber and that all the installation is done in one day, so there's no down time in teh kitchen."

"Vince called me back within hours of my sending him a message through Angie's List.  Even though he does not list Montgomery County as one of his service areas, he was completely willing to help us out.  In my message, I had requested the work to be done onsite but Vince explained why having him pick up the generator and take it back to his shop to work on it would make more sense.  His charge for pick-up and delivery back to us was only $34.95.
When Vince came to pick up the generator, he was on time and was able to give me a ballpark cost for the work (which turned out to be very accurate).  He said that he could get it back to us in 3-4 days but I asked if he could do it faster as there was a snow storm predicted for the next day or so.  Vince agreed to a shorter time line and ultimately got the generator back to us within 1 day!  There ended up being no snow storm but we got our generator back in working condition - along with a booklet of care instructions, a copy of our invoice, and a service history form.  A few days later we received a hand-written Thank You card in appreciation of our business.  I can't imagine how the service could have been any better.  We will use Vince for any future small engine repairs/maintenance we have and highly recommend him and his services.

"These folks are awesome! They answered the phone very early on a Saturday morning and took care of a flooding emergency at a rental property of mine in Baltimore. They went out the same day and got to work. It was a fairly large job, and they were able to solve the issues promptly and professionally. They resolved a variety of problems and put things back together perfectly. The rates were very reasonable, and they sent lots of photos since I wasn't able to be there in person. They also helped me deal with some grumpy insurance adjusters. They have handled a number of smaller jobs for me as well. They are extremely reliable and respond quickly. This is especially great for my situation as I can manage communication with them via text message while I work on other projects and then pay via credit card. "The job turned out to be a two day job, which we knew in advance and planned accordingly. Had to totally tear out the old tub and surrounding walls. Did run into some minor problems due to being an older house.John did everything he said he was going to do, even more. John was very conscientious in doing the work. He truly does do the work as if it was his own home, even brought the plumbing up to code. Answered any all questions I had with no problems. Will definitely hire them again. Should have done this sooner we are very pleased with everything. Great Job!"
