"Tim and a helper did a great job on our project leveling multiple areas where our concrete had settled. They even power-washed our driveway. Tim provided good communication throughout the project and provided a fair price. I recommend Big Bear Concrete Leveling."

"We were very happy to find A Plus Concrete & Foundation repair. They did a tremendous job!! Joe & his team came to our house last month to repair old crumbling foundation blocks. The team was fantastic! The old broken blocks in our foundation were repaired quickly and efficiently. Thank you! The team power washed the side patio above our garage per Gary, the owner's, suggestion. We're grateful Gary suggested removing the old rubber coating on the cement. We ended up finding numerous hairline cracks that were causing water to leak into the basement. After finding the source of the problem, Gabe and Dan returned two weeks later to seal the cracks and paint the patio above the garage with a fresh coat of paint. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and hard working. The patio looks amazing and is now leak free. Thank you! I will be recommending your company to my family and friends."

"TWENTY STARS! Nick is professional and obviously knows construction. He is always responsive, courteous and knowledgeable. Nick bid on a driveway project and came in as the lowest bidder. He always answered the phone and took the time to understand my project and went out of his way to answer my questions. However, the district I live in made the project too expensive with their permit process and requirements and I had to cancel the project. Nick called me back immediately when he got the email to thank me for the opportunity. Nick spent a lot of time working out the details for a driveway expansion and explained every part of the process. He understood the district's requirements and was more than willing to comply with them but it was out of my budget. I have other projects that need to be done in the spring of next year but Nick will be my first call. I cannot say enough about his work ethic and honesty. I will definitely be calling him for my next project."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Allison Park, PA

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
