"After having Florida Leak Locators come out and patch our pool over the last few years, we decided to go ahead and take care of the overall problem. This happened to be mostly our skimmer and some areas of grout. They were kind enough to take the amount that we had spent on patches with them and put it towards the overall bill for repair. They were able to get me scheduled within 2 weeks, which considering the items they had to do would take a whole day, that's pretty good scheduling. They sent out Angel who was there promptly on time early in the morning. The work was done in timely fashion and as a added bonus, he found some of the work didn't need to be done and instead of still charging the same, they reduced the bill some amount to compensate. That's the sign of a good company. I recommended them before for any leak detection and now I can recommend them for pool leak repairs. I would use them again, but hope i don't have to :)"

"Alex was very responsive.  Gave me an estimate of $735 over the phone when I described what I wanted done.  I gave him the measurements that the pool builder gave me.  Alex did not need as much fencing as I indicated.  The actual cost was less.  He could have easily charged me the quoted price.  I very much appreciate his honestly and professionalism.  My pool contractor quoted me $880 for the same job.  When I told him that Alex with Baby Guard could do it for less, he said, "Alex is a great guy and does good work.  Use him."  I highly recommend him!

"Overall, very well. Prompt, courteous, easy to work with. Their arrival was delayed about 30 minutes, nothing I would have considered an issue, but they sent a text notifying me of the delay well before the scheduled arrival time. One lesson learned however. Sham Shield is a pressure washing company, but pressure washing is not always the best tool. Some of my gutters are an integral part of the pool enclosure with the screen abutting the outside edge of the gutter. There was a lot of roof grit in the gutters. Sham Shield advised this would be a difficulty. The cleaning using a pressure washer blew grit through the screen on to the pool deck, with a considerable amount going into the pool. Sham Shield cleaned the deck, no issue, but there was nothing they could do about the grit in the pool. I don't fault Sham Shield, they did what I hired them to do, and advised me of the potential problem beforehand. I'll definitely use them again for pressure washing, but select someone who uses a different cleaning method for the pool enclosure gutters."

"I had to add water to my in ground swimming pool daily and I knew there was a leak somewhere. I called BRN Services in Apopka, FL, who was referred to me by Blue Horizon Pools.  Billy Nunn, owner of BRN Services, returned my call and agreed to come out the first of the week since it was near the weekend. I also kept close tabs on the water level and the pool still was leaking water--still about 1 inch daily.  Billy and wife came out this morning and he spent about 1 1/2 hours pressure testing and dye testing all the pipes, outlets, skimmer, then he donned a wet suit and dove down and tested the main drain. Everything tested fine except there was a broken skimmer which needs to be replaced. He could not get the cover off the underwater pool light and offered to come back when Blue Horizons is here to replace the broken skimmer. He is going to ask them to get the light cover off so that he can test that too, to see if there is a second leak.  He gives a 60 day warranty on his work. He is very thorough and it is good to know Billy  can find the problem in a short time and Blue Horizons Pool Co. can fix it.  This has been a very upsetting experience but it is good to know Billy Nunn and wife are around to find that leak in a short time so that it can be repaired! I highly recommend this company. Great people to have work for you.

"They were very professional, quick and went above and beyond. After I'd hired them, David volunteered to finish draining and cleaning the leaves out of the pool (it had been sitting for several years, and there were a lot) at no extra charge. I had planned on doing that myself, and one of the other companies I got a quote from was going to charge me $350 for that. During the work, David discovered that the drain/plug thing at the bottom of the pool was damaged. He explained that he could replace it at minimal cost but it would be significantly more expensive if I did it later. I asked him to go ahead and replace it, and he did. When they were done, David put some chemicals in the pool, again at no extra charge, to keep it in good shape until the pumps and filters could be replaced. In short, David and crew did a great job, and I'd highly recommend them... Oh year, they did give me a 5% discount on the work because of Angie's list's coupon."
