"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"CIR Coatings was professional and quick on the job. When we first bought this house we had a vision in mind and Aaron and his crew made this vision come to life. Aaron is very detail oriented and has shown great experience and knowledge in paining many different surfaces. On top of our home we also got our porch and storage shed painted to match our home and we are so impressed with the work that was done. Aaron and his crew exceeded our expectations and would re-hire him and his crew again! 10/10 recommend!!"

"Gary Wise and Wesley worked with me designing new doors for my shed which are better than the original ones the wind had demolished. They designed doors to fit the structures’ character and more secure than I had ever dreamed possible. Will hire them to do more work around here! They were professional and so patient and kind to what I needed and suggesting possible answers to the questions I have had about their abilities to do repairs."

"They are honest about things that needed to be done, that he could or could not do. He has a lot going on and so he has to work on bigger project first but that is common. Sometimes if he do not have a big job you cannot really expect to get quick service, that kind of goes for a lot of people. I would use his services again in the future, as eventually it’s the right thing."

"The roofers that we used used hammer and nails and they were using nail guns which were not preferrable and we just did not like their way. We saw another project of theirs and the roof looked good and everything but we did not use them. The man who came out was professional and very very nice. He just came by. We did not set up an appointment with him so I could not tell whether he was punctual or anything like that. His price was a little lower than the one that we used but we just did not want the nail gun. He was fine. We would not use him again for a roof but maybe we would for something else and it is only just based on that one thing and nothing else that he had done or anything."

FAQs for shed, barn or playhouse repair projects in Amarillo, TX

You’ll know it’s time for a new shed roof if shingles curl or buckle, soft spots sag, or water stains appear inside. Moss or other plant growth on the surface is another red flag that moisture has breached the roofing layers. Replacing the roof quickly stops leaks from spreading, protects stored items, and saves you from costlier structural repairs down the road.

Choosing between a flat and a sloped shed roof comes down to climate, budget, and upkeep. A flat roof is cheaper up front, but still needs a slight pitch for drainage. A sloped roof sheds rain and snow more easily, lasts longer, and often needs less maintenance. Weigh your local weather patterns, the look you want, and how much time you’re willing to spend on upkeep before deciding.

A shed roof’s life span hinges on the material you choose and how well you maintain it. Most standard products last 15 to 30 years, while premium picks like slate or clay tile can protect the structure for 50 to 100 years. Regular inspections, fast fixes, and routine cleaning all help you reach the upper end of those ranges and keep your tools and gear dry year-round.
