"Anton, the owner of European Craftsman and Remodeling, has done a lot of work for us over the past few years. He has painted and fixed the entire exterior of our home, repaired our roof, built a beautiful front patio with stonework, and also re-finished our cedar outdoor deck. This man is an absolute top-rate craftsman of the highest order. Every single job that he has done for us has been done with great care, detail, and amazing quality. All of this done with complete trust, no price increases unless there is an impending issue that comes up, and extreme reliability. We have other work that we need done, and there is absolutely nobody else that I will ever call in the Hudson Valley - Anton is our man! We have had nightmare issues in the past finding good carpenters and contractors - they are usually not reliable, do garbage or incorrect work, overcharge, etc so when we found Anton, we were amazed and are now thrilled. If you need something taken care of in your home or want to upgrade some appearance, painting, stonework, repair, decks, I give my highest recommendation to call Anton. "Very professional, built a wood fired oven kit, 6 " concrete slab , block foundation, oven assembly, finished wit lh top quality stone. Wood fired oven works amazing and it's perfectly insulated. Fireplace has correct draw for smoke and firebox. Highly recommend George and his amazing team of skilled masons."

The owner Alan provided me with a affordable estimate. The two workmen who arrived this morning to do the work were on time and a pleasure to deal with. "Impeccable workmanship: we are totally happy with the results. Derek also professionally guided us to a custom rail solution that no one else suggested. His work and team were professional and friendly, and they made sure all of our punchlist items were addressed. Derek even fixed some roof shingles he noticed were awry! Derek sometimes failed to let us know in advance when issues were going to adversely affect his timing. But, he always followed up, responded to our questions and did extra work—often after business hours—to catch up. "I highly recommend this company. I was given a great price and all work was done perfectly. I have an 18’ ceiling that was also painted which required scaffolding to do it. Alberto and his team took great care to protect my wood floors while using their scaffolds and the work was done quickly and cleanly. No drips, all paint lines were sharp and straight. I reached out to Harold based on his listing on Angie's List before I bought my home--free of charge, he took a look at the roof on a property I was considering buying--giving me an estimate and advice. His help led me to find that the sellers were dishonest about the condition of and work done on their roof, and I purchased a different property in Hudson, NY. My home is a 1927 Craftsman that needed quite a bit of work. I hired Harold based on his honesty and responsiveness in helping me evaluate the first property. True to form, his estimate and ultimate cost to repaint the entire interior, repair and sheetrock floors and ceilings, refinish and replace hardwood floors, completely remodel a bathroom, rewire and install light fixtures, match original woodworking, install cabinetry, windows, and appliances, and even assist with installing new furniture, were more than reasonable. Better yet, the quality of his work was of the highest caliber. He has restored and improved a lovely home, and I am so thankful! I have to say that most of all, I am so happy with Harold's professionalism and diligence. Not every contractor is known for staying on the job and completing it on time. Especially in my situation, where I am a single woman trying to restore a second home when I live out of state--I assumed I would have difficulty in getting any contractor to be present and complete the job on time. However, this was never a problem. Harold was always there, was immediately responsive, and never slacked off when I wasn't there.
