"Promptness was my major complaint. Pennington would say he would make it by the weekend, for example, to pick up the tub, and never show or call. It took many calls and reminders before connections were made. This went on multiple times throughout the course of the project. On the plus side, he had a cell, and would almost always pick up when I called, so at least I could touch base. After he took the tub, he said he should have it back in about two weeks. It was probably closer to two months. But apart from that, his price was lower than anyone else's I called. And from what I can tell, he did a good job. The tub looks good -- especially considering what he started with. He had to take off a layer of paint that someone had put on the inside of the tub, and the outer surface was unfinished and rough. Although if I had it to do over again I might ask how much extra to put enamel on the outside surface as well, instead of the dull white coating that was put on. Pennington made no complaints or extra charges for taking the tub up the steps, which was a challenge. And the capper -- once they brought the tub back, his son and helper insisted on putting on the new hardware I had to hook up to the drain for no charge. Even when I couldn't find all the pieces, they went to their truck and used their own hardware to finish the job."

Then the diagnosed the issue with the failed pump and replaced it quickly for approx $500. On the second visit, I chose Cambria quartz countertops. The installers came on time and I had my old cabinets emptied out and the hardware off when they came. They were efficient and quick and very careful with appliances that were in the kitchen. They finished in less than eight hours. I could not have been more pleased. Cambria quartz representative came the next business day and took laser measurements. I was without the kitchen sink and water in the kitchen until the countertops were installed. They returned in 3 weeks and installed the countertops with a sink already attached to the countertops. They did an excellent installation. Warren Flooring Corp. did the tile backsplash. Tile was purchased at The Tile Shop. The entire process could not have been better. I highly recommend Limpus Cabinet Sales Co. if you are in need of a kitchen update. I am so pleased with how everything turned out in my kitchen. My kitchen cabinets were 17 years old. The results speak for themselves. The cabinets were approximately $7,500 and the quartz countertops and sink cost approximately $5,000."

"The job was clean, timely, and efficient.  I was glad to find a local small business to send the work to.  I would recommend them again for sure.  My only regret is that we waited 5 years to call them!  I can't believe how much difference having a water softner makes!  
I also have to say that I had had several estimates done the year before and their cost was right in the middle or on less expensive end of all the estimates - not so cheap that you wondered about the quality of the work that would be done or the quality of the softner that would be installed, but not so expensive that you thought you were getting taken advantage of.  The price was exactly right where I was hoping it would be.

"Mr. Bill Schwenzer and his brother, Tom, demolished the bathtub area, removed the tile floor, installed new sub floor, removed the vanity top, raised the vanity a few inches, installed 12"x24" tiles in tub area with a niche, installed 18"x18" tiles on the floor, installed new baseboards and shoe mold, organized plumber for installation of  new tub, toilet, sink and shower faucets.  Bill and Tom always prompt and efficient.  We had a few challenges with the location and size of the niche because of some electrical wires in the wall, but it worked out well after all.  They were very meticulous in their work, cleaned up after themselves, and especially wanted to be sure we were satisfied AND happy with the job.  Not only were they polite and friendly with us (and the family dog), they were also polite and friendly with each other.  They are trustworthy and honest gentlemen, which is hard to find these days.   Everything is GREAT!

This was a complex restoration, and R&R had to coordinate with the cabinet makers, countertop installers, and other subs during the almost 4-month job. "I had called Andrew previous to the installation because I wanted to know about the new water heater; how well it was insulated, would it heat  cycle  less often than my 30+ year old heater, thus saving gas and would the pilot be easier to light than the old one, which required literally getting down on the cold, basement floor to light it.  All my concerns were answered  with professionalism and respect.
Andy was a very professional person/plumber/installer. He and I had a pleasant conversation throughout the installation process as I learned more about the process and my new water heater.  We even talked about soldering copper pipes, something I learned about doing many years ago, but which there was no need to do thanks to modern plumbing connections.  Watching Andy, who is a strong young man, haul the old water heater up the 9 steps to my garage and out to the truck where he would carry it away for disposal, made me even more thankful I/we had decided to replace it, it must have weighted close to three hundred pounds!
Andy was very professional and cleaned up any and all mess left after the installation, including wiping up spilled water from the pipes off of the new water heater, The install was estimated to take two hours but from arrival to departure took slightly over 90 minutes.  Very efficient.

"The job went well.  Mr. Slater did a very good job in a timely manner.  He was very quit, clean and professional.  He installed a new valve on the bath tub faucet that required soldering copper pipe.  The quality of his work was excellent.  We are very pleased with our new bathroom.  Bob is a very nice person, honest and trustworthy. I would definetly hire him again.
