"We had a couple of meetings initially with the company owner.  She did not try to talk us into doing more than we were comfortable doing, unlike other companies we had talked to.  After we signed the contract, they started the demo about 10 days later.  We had four bathrooms partially renovated.  We had a pedestal sink removed from our powder room and a new custom cabinet and new vanity top installed.  In the master bath, we had a new tile shower installed, a new floor, a new tile surround on our bathtub, and new vanity tops.  We have a very large master bath, so there was a lot of tile involved.  While doing the demolition, the toilet lid was dropped and broken.  We were given a new American Standard toilet at no cost to us. 
Upstairs we have two bathrooms.  In one we had a new floor and a new vanity top. In the other we had a new bathtub with a new tile surround, a new floor, and new vanity top.
Except for the powder room, we did not replace any vanities, but had them all repainted.
The workers were pleasant, showed up on time, and did an excellent job. The field manager was very hands-on and always responsive to any questions we had.  I would highly recommend this company.  The cost was reasonable and the work was done in a professional manner.

"The initial estimation was very through and descriptive.  Was very patient and helpful when my choice of color was rejected by the HOA and had to resubmit.  Crew was very polite and did a great job. ( They even cleaned up my dog's mess in the back yard - sorry...)  The owner personally followed up and did walk through inspection after the work was completed, and offered to repair the chimney damage ( due to aging )  that his crew discovered while installing the roof.
Very honest and I was able to trust them from the beginning to the completion.  I would recommend this company to all my friends.

"I contacted Steve at Texas Roof and Fence last fall to get bids on my house and a rent house that had hail damage.  he was very responsive to those requests and quickly got me a bid.
I'm probably not the easiest customer to do business with and I wasn't thrilled with some of his terms and conditions so he agreed to changes I requested.  I'm not sure why but it took a few months to get his signed agreement back to me.  My impression is Steve has a lot of balls in the air and sometimes thinks he has done something he hasn't. 
The roof replacement was done last week.  I am still waiting on the barn roof and gutters which were supposed to be done this week but it's not looking like they will be.
Steve set a high bar and high expectations committing to cleaning up daily which his team didn't do.  He also told me when they cleaned up it would be spotless which it wasn't.   Steve said it was unrealistic to expect they would get more than 99% of the nails, etc.
He may have done better than most roofers would have.  I had high expectations based on the strong reviews he had on Angie's List and in Denton and his representations which fell a little short.  Not sure how much of that is because my expectations were too high and some because his crew or he didn't do what he said they would.

They also did a good job of cleaning up upon completion and moving the furniture back in place. Due to his great communication skills I chose to use him to also replace part of my perimeter fence, some repair work to the interior of my home, and lawn cleanup. He is very responsive to phone calls, text messages, etc. Due to his excellent service I will be using his company to do some major work at my new home as well.
