Our installation technician, Trinity, was a gem. He arrived on time and after a quick inspection got to work. In was heating up in the Sacramento Valley, but he kept right on working with a minimum of noise. In under 3 hours, the old garage door was removed, a new garage door with opener installed, old garage door was taken away and there was time for a complete tutorial on how to operate it. "The technician who did the work was very nice, explained what is needed, etc. The initial quote was quite high and then he called Door-Mart to ask if there is discount to apply and got 10% off the initial price. I am under the impression that going through HomeAdvisor means I am getting the best value and I do not have to bargain. This was disappointing. Eventually I paid $736 to replace two springs for a standard 2 car home garage, I think the price is still high. I went with Door-Mart because my car was stuck inside the garage and need to get the work done."

Through it all, we ended up contacting Overhead Troy of Sacramento because he was a local, owner operated company that checked all the boxes. He was clear on his prices and did a great job on the installation of a garage door opener, springs and wheels. This new stuff is so quiet and the app has really cool features. This company also installs new doors and when we decide to change ours, we will be contacting them. I found Troy and his staff to be professional, knowledgeable, and clean.
