It is difficult to find an excellent contractor who is willing to take on a major remodeling project in old construction, and who handles it efficiently, cost-effectively, and with perfection. This time we were remodeling a 110 year-old bathroom. When we got down to the studs, joists, and rafters, the plans were worthless because of all the surprises. Unphased, the crew was able to trace every hidden wire to destination and source, re-route them as needed, install a new, larger, circuit breaker box, pull wire through neatly, clearly identify and label everything, and finish beautifully the lighting, overhead heating, floor heating, and exhaust fixtures, making for a beautiful bath. "Most recent project: Barrington Electric and their team inspected all the electrical outlets, replaced the damaged ones, corrected fuses that had been wired incorrectly and were not the same manufacturer, installed four new light fixtures, and added an outlet above the fireplace. They demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship. I highly recommend them for any electrical projects."

"I requested quote from several companies, High Caliber to be one of them. High Caliber came out to my house, expressed they need to walk around and see the project and inspect to give an accurate quote. After they accessed the situation they told be they would charge $200 to fix my issue and they can perform the repair right there and then. I agreed to the repair and $200 charge. High Caliber performed the repaired and then billed me. They told me $200, after the repair they billed me $250. I reluctantly paid the bill, after the bill was paid as they stood in front of me waiting to get paid, I asked them to show me and verify the repair. High Caliber walked around and showed me that only half of the repair was made. They then stated to perform the complete repair, they would need an additional $850. I expressed my discontent and told them I felt they gave me the bait and switch. I told them I was no longer comfortable hiring them and I did not agree with thier shady practices. "
