"<br /> We worked with Kirk over a period of about a month. He was very patient as we worked through our decisions on each phase of the project and supplied a number of good ideas. He was also helpful in steering us away from ideas that we hadn't thought through thoroughly. He was also helpful with his knowledge of what would be expected by our HOA."

"We had an incredible experience working with Builderzz Remodeling for our kitchen remodel. Guy and his team were very accessible, managing the project end-to-end from design, construction, inspection through completion. They set a budget and timeline upfront and stayed true to both. They were very detail oriented and had our best interests in mind. We never felt in the dark as they were very transparent and responsive whenever we needed. Our kitchen turned out better than we had anticipated and we couldn't have asked for a better contractor or experience. Thank you Builderzz Remodeling!"

"3 years ago I hired Essi Safti (SpazioLA) to remodel my full bath. Bath was totally gutted and re-designed. Essi and his team did such a beautiful job that when my girlfriend was in need of a kitchen remodel there was only one company that I recommended....Spazio. I've never met anyone who takes such a hands-on approach to their work. Essi met with both of us and did a fantastic job of guiding us through the process. They did a great job with customizing her (my girlfriend) ideas with the the space she had. They're attention to detail was remarkable, they always cleaned up after themselves, and they got the job done in timely manner. And the best part - the price was very reasonable! They worked completely within her budget. If you're looking for a home remodeling contractor, look not further. SpazioLA and Essi will be your new best friend."

"The work was done very professionally. Niev kept me up to date on the progress. Any issues (just a couple) were immediately brought to my attention and were addressed. The job was performed on budget and on schedule. This was actually the second time I have used NK Construction. They had remodeled my entire kitchen, living room and den. Due to the successful first project, I did not hesitate to contact them again and did not seek a second estimate."

"and quickly accomplished all of the above, trouble shooting my dead outlets, relocating the switch and adding the outlet.. They carefully cleaned up the work-site and left my kitchen exactly as they found it. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will call for any future electrical needs that I have. Good job, well done at a reasonable price. Thanks!  Dan in Lakewood. <br />"

"L.A. Custom Grill Islands is highly recommended. I live in Santa Barbara and looked all over to find the right combination of cost and quality. At first I was concerned that working with someone out of town would be a problem - but it was not at all. <br /> Working with Brock is a pleasure. He knows everything about grills, grill islands, and fireplaces. He helped design both pieces so they fit perfectly in our yard and was never pushy. He even made the drive to our house and took photos of the yard, which he then turned into renderings showing exactly what the pieces would look like in place. He <br /> had no problem going through several rounds of minor design changes and would always follow up with new drawings. <br /> He also saves us about $1000 with a custom outdoor fireplace. He designed a unit to the specs of a prefabricated model we were going to purchase, which was less money and allowed us to match the tile and trim of the grill island. <br /> Brock and his crew delivered and installed the island and fireplace to Santa Barbara, for a nominal charge. Everything <br /> was smooth and it ended up looking and working just like we had hoped. This is where the beauty of the drawings come in - there were no surprises about the size or fit. I had already purchased the grill components separately, prior to ordering the island. Brock had no problem installing them, but probably could have sold me the items for the same or <br /> less. <br /> After dealing with a few other companies and either getting very expensive quotes or vague promises about design and timelines, I am very happy I found Brock and his company. I highly recommend calling them if you live in Southern California and are considering a grill island or outdoor fireplace."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Anza, CA

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
