They did an excellent job in the full remodel of our kitchen which included removing a drop ceiling, and adding new cabinets, an extended counter, granite top, lighting and appliances. William (co-owner) and each of the sub-contractors (drywall, electrical, plumber, tile, HVAC, flooring, granite fabricator) visited our home over a couple of days prior starting the project so they could see what needed to be done, avoid any surprises and accurately determine costs. We had access to the project schedule via the online app BuilderTrend before work began so we knew what work and who would be coming next. Project Manager Mike called to let us know if there was a change in the daily schedule or a work crews’ arrival time. KS's team and all sub-contractors throughout the project were skilled, courteous and cleaned/hauled away debris when they finished each day. The project was completed on time and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome."

"I'm angry that the home inspector failed to point out the massive rat infestation in my roof - the foam on the outside copper pipes of the AC was completely visibly chewed away and there were rat wax markings in the soffit holes, big pile of rat droppings visible by from standing on the attic ladder. Now I have to pay over 2000 for new duct work and rat proofing the roof. If i had to do it again, I would do not hire rock solid and do my own home inspection. 0 stars"

So when we decided to remodel our kitchen, Schoeman Construction was the only contractor we considered. We knew we would receive the highest quality workmanship from a dependable, family-owned, trustworthy company. From the beginning to the end of our kitchen remodel, we were updated on the work completed that day, provided projected plans for the following day, and given time for questions and answers. Based on their many years of experience, Hennie and sons Abel and Hennie Jr., had a wealth of knowledge and expertise. I was reluctant to give up my tiered countertop for a flat countertop. Hennie Sr. discussed the differences in appearance, size, and functionality between the tiered and flat designs. I was so happy that I chose the flat countertop. It gave me more counter space, enhanced the kitchen size, and accentuated the entire kitchen. Our kitchen had a small, odd shaped area that we were at a loss on how to adapt to our new kitchen. Abel had exceptional creativity and design skills. He created an eye-catching nook that provided extra counter space and a unique upper shelf with under the shelf lighting. The nook fit perfectly and gave the impression that it was planned in the original design. We were totally pleased with our kitchen and will choose Schoeman Construction for any future remodeling plans. We highly recommend Hennie and sons for your next home remodeling project."
