"My upstairs unit was working, but not able to keep up with the warmer temperatures in late afternoon, despite being only 2 years old (new construction). I called and spoke with Kathleen, who was courteous and polite and scheduled a tech that morning. Our technician was Ronnie. He was efficient, methodical, pleasant, and patient. He systematically worked through his process and diagnosed a faulty expansion valve. It had to be ordered, and while the part was covered by warranty, the labor wasn't, and neither was the new refrigerant that had to be put in. He wrote everything up to give to us in case we wanted to get the home builder to remedy the problem. We decided we didn't want to wait, so gave him the go ahead. He got the part ordered and schedule the repair for us 2 days later. Daniel was our installer for the new parts. He was also very professional, efficient, and courteous. He got done in less time than our first tech estimated, and the A/C is running again like new. Also, I should point out that this review was written during the stay-at-home for COVID-19, and both techs wore masks, gloves, and footwear without being asked, which is great. As someone with a new house, naturally, it's a bummer having to pay nearly $700 for a new Carrier unit that is under warranty (which is not the fault of the service company. Despite that, I found this to be a very positive experience with Cornerstone, and will use them in the future without hesitation, and would recommend them for sure. "I had a blockage in my main drain which was causing waste (poop!) to backup into a shower. I called Tampa Bay Plumbers and they dispatched a service technician within 2-3 hours. Michael, the tech, arrived and evaluated the situation. He used an electric drain auger to try to clear the blockage but the auger was not robust enough to do the job. He called another technician, Matt, and even though Matt had already clocked out for the day, he came over to give Michael a hand. Matt had a better electric auger and like Michael earlier, dragged the auger onto the rooftop to access a plumbing vent in order to try to clear the blockage. They were able to send the auger down the entire length of the drain and clear out scale deposits that were the main cause of the blockage. They then used a camera and examined the entire drain all the way to the septic tank to ensure the line was completely clear. These guys were here for about 3-4 hours until around 8:00 PM and they persevered to ensure my drainage issue was resolved before they left. And to top it off, Michael cleaned/disinfected the nastiness from the shower and the toilet and he also cleaned/disinfected every doorknob they touched in the process of the repair. I cannot recommend Tampa Bay Plumbers strongly enough. This is the third time I have used their services over the last 4 years and I could not be happier with the quality of service and professionalism of the staff and technicians. If you have a plumbing or septic issue call Tampa Bay Plumbers! You will not be disappointed!"
