Isaias walked me through the inspection, indicated various issues of failing parts/excess wear-n-tear, gave me a few options on different garage door openers, and worked a very affordable price. My garage door went from a circa early-2000s rust machine to a smooth glider with a chain drive. It previously sounded like a jackhammer and now we barely hear it open and close. Definitely give them a try when looking for an honest quote!"

"Academy Door just replaced both torsion springs on one side of our garage. They installed the new doors and opening system several years ago. They also serviced both sides. William the mechanic was polite, thorough and knowledgeable and the labor charge of just under $200 was reasonable for the high-quality service provided. The problem was with the price of the two exact springs was 500% more than what it could purchase the springs for. My mistake was we brought Academy in for a routine $200 service call and then found out a spring was broken. I was stuck. Subsequently I had another reputable company come in on the same day to provide an estimate for the other side of the garage. Their price was $350 vice the $718 we shelled out to Academy. We could have gotten both garages refurbished for that price. Very disappointed that we got ripped off! "
