Five years since, I could not be happier. They gave the option of spray foam insulation around the window casings to help with drafts from original construction. What a difference. Not at all pushy and not the cheapest but boy was it worth it."

"Everything went well. Window washing is a nice luxury but for a large home, it’s costly. Also, you may find that your screens could be difficult to re- install once they are removed, and windows could be more difficult to close due to infrequent use."

"Hodges Windows & Doors is the place to go for windows and doors. Our home was built in 1955 and in need of replacement windows and doors. In 2018 when we started shopping for replacement windows our neighbor (an Architect) referred us to Hodges. We are SO glad we found them. "In December of 2009 Mr. Edward Dunn, the president of American Windows & Siding of VA, Inc. installed 18 Sunrise replacement windows and 2 Sunrise replacement sliding glass doors with lifetime warranties and a 10 year labor warranty. Additionally I had him reside my house. In January 2017 I noticed that the caulk was pulling away from the windows and there was some minor water stains by one of the sliding glass doors. I contacted Ed and sent him pictures of the windows. He promptly arranged to come out and look a the windows and doors. He took one look and immediately agreed to do what ever was necessary to fix the issues. While he was there I also showed him some siding discoloration by the front door and he immediately agreed to have it fixed. For the next nine months he worked around my schedule to get his people out to fix the problems. On the 23rd of May his crew showed up to replace the damaged siding. They were extremely professional. They not only replaced the small area of discolored siding, they walked around the house and repaired everything else they could find that needed to be fixed (loose nails, a new shutter, missing hole plugs, etc.). Then in October of 2017, this crew came in and removed all the caulk on the windows and doors and re-caulked, and he replaced the sill-plate of one of the sliding glass windows and installed a custom drain pan to ensure there would be no more water seepage under the door. All of this with no muss or fuss. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of the people at American Windows & Siding of VA, Inc.. Mr. Dunn is a man of honor who stands by his word and I would not hesitate to recommend him or his company!"

"Miguel installed ceramic tile backsplash in my kitchen, a recessed medicine chest in the bathroom wall, added a wooden frame to a wall mounted mirror and replaced a broken door frame. He and his worker were professional, neat, fast and efficient. The job cost didn't change and he finished on time. All of the workmanship was excellent and he went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy."

"I had 4 windows that essentially could not be opened because  the balances had become detached. The technician analyzed the problem and attempted to find replacement balances. He was unable to find replacement parts but upon my request he returned and repaired the windows using screws to hold the old balances, in place of the original hooks. The repair seems to be adequate and the windows can now be opened normally. After making the repairs, he vacuumed the work area. <br />"
