"I'm writing to share my positive experiences with Windorco over the years. My family has purchased several homes, and if I recall correctly, we've consistently chosen Windorco for our window replacements in four of them. Each time, the process has been seamless—the installations were excellent, the pricing was fair, and their follow-up service was impressive. Most recently, Windorco built and installed new wood windows across the front of our current home. The rear windows, which were more recently updated by the previous owner, didn't require any work. Similarly, my son and his wife also had Windorco replace the front windows of their home (the rear ones had been replaced during a prior remodel). During their installation, one of Windorco's installers even noticed a leaking rear window that wasn't on the replacement list. He recognized it as one of their products and promptly took care of it for them. After our recent installation, we noticed that one small window was a bit sticky and not sliding smoothly. I contacted Jeff, and he had someone at our house to fix it within about an hour, which was incredibly efficient. This was the only issue I've ever encountered, and it was resolved immediately. In summary, I believe Windorco consistently delivers a high-quality product at a competitive price and stands firmly behind their work."

"DO NOT USE: We were quoted $6K for a shower kit install. Upon completion of the work, it was immediately apparent that the installation was defective and did not meet acceptable industry standards. Specifically: No water membrane was installed behind the shower kit, rendering the installation non-compliant with waterproofing best practices. No caulking was applied to seal seams, leaving the installation vulnerable to water intrusion and damage. The walls and surrounding trim were not plumb, which made it impossible to install a functioning shower door. A McLendon's supervisor subsequently inspected the installation onsite and acknowledged the poor workmanship. We were informed that the matter would be addressed, but despite multiple follow-up phone calls, we received no further communication or resolution from McLendon's. Nevertheless, the remaining balance of $3,100 was charged to our account without our authorization or consent and without any resolution."

"This was our second kitchen remodel by Keystone Kitchens. Beautifully done and all the cupboards and drawers I needed and new appliances fitted and plumbed by Jeff. He works efficiently, listens and addresses all concerns. My husband is a woodworker and admires Jeff’s level of confidence and proficiency. Everyone at Keystone is friendly and helpful."

"We have used this company for years, as have our neighbors, and they always do a great job. We have a cement tile roof that requires more detailed work for cleaning and moss removal. And because of the quality of the cleaning and moss prevention treatment the roof looks great. They also do a great job cleaning our gutters and doing our windows inside and out."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Arlington, WA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
