"Windorco was great to work with. Local, honest, fair pricing. Exactly what you hope to find without a big sales pitch. They do windows and they do them well - simple as that! They'll be our first call for any future projects, for sure."

"While the cost may be a bit on the high side, their quality and work is excellent. I haven’t had any issues with bubbling or deformations at all. They were very helpful in picking out a tint level and film type. I do recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for a sure bet in end result. You might be able to gamble and go with someone whose cheaper, but you won’t have a guaranteed job-well-done like with these guys. Couldn’t be happier."

"First off, the recommendation: if you need windows, get quotes. Just be sure you “buy local” have the work done by Einar Johanson Glass. Now here’s why: My long-term condo rental tenant recently moved out. With an opportunity to do some long-needed renovations, we quickly saw the first thing that needed replacing was the 35 year-old exterior windows and sliding doors. I got quotes from a big-box supplier and, after receiving a recommendation from a neighbor, also reached out to Einar Johanson Glass - a decision we haven’t regretted for one moment. The sales rep had been an installer for a number of years and so knew the product and installation process extremely well. Often a sales representative does not have the installation process experience and that often leads to complications but John was able to take me through everything from “soup to nuts” on this project. The pricing for the project was in line and I had no qualms about moving forward with their proposal. As this is a condo unit on an upper level, there were some issues involved with HOA board regulations and access limitations but Einar Johanson Glass didn’t miss a beat. They were compliant with all condo regulations and noise concerns and had the project done in record time. We had one hiccup when the master key was misplaced. As this was a building security issue, the condo board required a replacement of all master keys to the tune of $2500. I phoned Einar Johanson Glass and spoke directly with JD, the long-time owner of the company, and explained the situation. He listened calmly and quietly to me as I explained what had happened then took complete responsibility for the replacement of the keys. He was personally in contact with both the condo board and the locksmith about the problem and took care of absolutely everything at no cost to me."

"Reglaze did the window replacement at my work and I saw firsthand their work product, care, and expertise. There were some difficult windows in our offices (we work in a converted house) and they were able to handle them with no problem, restoring the integrity of the structure in all cases. I was so impressed that when it was time to replace windows in my personal home I contacted Reglaze to see if they could give me a quote. Pete came out to the house and talked me through our project to replace 8 windows. He did a great job of setting expectations, talking me through options and even talked me out of replacing a couple windows that were in excellent condition. I really appreciated that (he was so right). Reglaze’s quote came in lower than the others that I had obtained and I knew they did good work so I hired them. We live in a 93 year old house with a stucco exterior. To say we always encounter problems with home improvement projects would be an understatement. One company came to do a quote, saw the stucco and left saying “sorry we don’t do stucco houses”. We had several windows we knew would be problematic. One was a homemade double pane window that was completely crumbling between the two layers of glass, one window had been water damaged years prior, several windows had never been able to open since installation 40 years ago, and more issues. We talked through our concerns with Pete and his crew and I prepared for the worst. Reglaze got to work. They were so very careful in our home making sure to cover and protect everything around the work site. I felt completely comfortable letting them work while I was at the office and they provided excellent communication during the project. They tackled each window with skill and care and I was in awe each night when I came home. The workmanship was top notch. The homemade and crumbling window looked absolutely perfect, like it should have looked when the house was built. One window had to have a completely new sill and window box built to fix a previous poor installation and it was a masterpiece. Every day I marvel at how good it looks, like it is original to the house. The guys did a beautiful job. I had planned for overages due to our tricky job (that is usually the case for projects on our house) but they came in on budget and the work was impeccable. I would recommend Reglaze to everyone! Especially if you have a difficult job like we did. From our first phone call to invoicing, everything was smooth and they were all a pleasure to work with."

"The job was very well done. The two individuals did a great job of letting me know what they were doing and a timeline of what was still to be done. They were super tidy and cleaned up every day."

"We have used this company for years, as have our neighbors, and they always do a great job. We have a cement tile roof that requires more detailed work for cleaning and moss removal. And because of the quality of the cleaning and moss prevention treatment the roof looks great. They also do a great job cleaning our gutters and doing our windows inside and out."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Arlington, WA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
