"When I bought my home in 2016, I didn't know a soul in the area. I interviewed more than a half dozen contractors before I met Sherrill. I knew after speaking with him that I wanted him to completely gut and re-do the master bath. Since then, Sherrill and his team have gutted and redone the kitchen, built a privacy fence, a deck and a new front entryway. I have full faith and trust in them. They know exactly what they're doing. It's wonderful to be able to speak so highly of a contractor!"

"A strip drain was placed along the center of the courtyard and covered with decorative gravel and stepping stones. Additionally, trenches were dug from my downspouts to the drain to direct the runoff. The work was done quickly and professionally. Jonathon's team was very mindful of the surrounding plants and structures. Josh and Jamie hand dug the trench since there was a gas line nearby. Tim chose beautiful stones for my path and placed them perfectly. The drain is working well and I plan to have them back again for my next landscaping project!"

"Concrete was done to perfection and everything was clearly explained from start to finish. Clean up was excellent. Responded immediately to call, showed up next day for assessment of job. Started work next day as I requested. Price was very good for the job, better than competitive companies. Caleb and his team are very professional, polite, punctual, knowledgeable and listens to your requests and needs. No pressure, just perfection and honesty. It is hard to find someone to do quality work around your home, get on board with these guys! I got my referral from coworker and she was absolutely right, awesome work! I definitely will be sharing this company with my friends, coworkers & family for future projects. I am giving rate 10 out of 10."

"Mr Hester arrived right on time to give us an estimate and his team arrived when agreed upon to do the work.  After trying to get this work done for a couple of years we were beyond grateful to find Hester Stone Masonry. The entire team was great.  They finished our work in less than a week.  The new steps look great and are now safe."

"I went okay, what I like is that he give some verbal feedback after the inspection. Unfortunately, they never get in contact with me after that nor send an update like call or messages."

"went perfect - came day after I called and refused to bill me.  We have used them for many projects over the years from plumbing work, electrical, painting, installing hardwood floors, remodeling bathrooms, tiling - no job too big or too small - have probably spent over $ 20,000 with them as we bought an older home to fix up and they did most all the work.  Several things we really like re that when they finish for the day, they really clean up even if they are continuing the same work the next day.  Also, if they don't have the skill set or equipment for a job, they don't try to fake I but will give you several good references to choose from. <br />"

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Asheboro, NC

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
