"Everything went very well last week when Elite came to clean the windows and screens. There were 3 people working together as a team to take care of the inside and outside. They were punctual (arriving exactly when they said they would) and worked diligently throughout the day to complete the job. They were courteous and neat and I would definitely recommend them to others as well as have them back again for future work. They even went over and above and cleaned the mirrors in the master bath as an "extra"."

"Michael was our general contractor on a 1500 sq. ft. shop and in-law suite we built on our property in Oakley. After the completion of a year-long project, my opinion of his work is pretty high, but he's also just an objectively good contractor. He returns phone calls, showed up when he said he would, and delivers a product that passes inspections and looks great. He was willing to work within our specific budget constraints and desire for homeowner involvement, and the final cost of our project was right on target with what Michael originally quoted. His sub-contractors were also high quality and spoke highly of working with Michael. Several of them I still call for maintenance needs with the new structure or our existing house. We couldn't be happier with the work."

"Darrell called the day before the appointment to confirm. He and his crew arrived on time on the day appointed. They replaced the sub-floor and installed new laminated flooring on top, re-installed the toilet and vanity, installed a baseboard which we did not have before. The result was a beautiful bathroom better than when the house was built. Each time I walk past the bathroom, I am in awe as to how beautiful it looks and for a very reasonable price. I will definitely call Darrell when I have other work to be done."

"We had a wonderful experience with Rob and his installation team when we replaced all the original windows in our 30 year old house. There were a number of complicating factors but throughout the process Rob was professional, knowledgable and responsive. We are super-satisfied and unconditionally recommend Alliance WNC."

"Did a great roofing job, replacing an 18 year old leaking roof, at a very competitive price. We have a very large roof (140 squares or 14,000 square feet). The main part of the job was completed in two days. The follow up was great with 1.) additional nail pick up, 2.) reinstalling the gutter screens in the manner that should have been done 18 years ago and 3.) replacing the shingles where the satellite internet provider had to move the dish after the new roof was installed. Two additional comments: - I wish my builder would have used this company. - Now I can enjoy listening to the rain on my roof!"

"The work occurred as scheduled and was completed quickly. During a quality check in which they reviewed their work, a split board was found and replaced. The carport required some creativity and a great solution was found. I recommend Monty and have used them on 2 occasions. <br />"

FAQs for new windows service projects in Asheville, NC

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
