"Peter and his brother Brian did an excellent job deleading my apartment and the exterior of the house. Price quote was lower than all the others I received. Job was completed quickly and passed re-inspection. Peter picks up his phone when called and sticks to everything he says. Brain and his crew were very professional. I have since hired them to do some unrelated work which is going great so far. I will be working with them to get the other units deleaded in the future."

"Very professional, came to the house with samples and helped us make the right choice for our concerns of window replacement which were a mix of cost, looks, sound reduction and energy savings.( We went with the slightly higher cost composite windows because it looked better with the style of the house and provided better sound reduction and slightly better heat retention.) Helped us through the MassSave loan process. Whenever I had a question I was able to get a hold of him quickly and he'd happily answer it. Three weeks after ordering windows (Usually it's about two weeks but the window manufacturers had a delay in making the windows. ) they were put in over two days, working with us to make sure they were in before the house painters came in. (They do not paint, so be prepared to either do touch ups yourself or schedule it so your handyman/painters can be there shortly after which is what we did since we needed the whole house painted.) On time, professional, neatened up after. The windows look great, I get almost no noise from the busy road, and they noticeably trap more heat which should pay real dividends in winter. It's a small family owned local business as is the company they get the windows from. I highly recommend them. I ever needed windows again I'd go to them in a heart beat."

"AAA Rated Company!! They showed up on time and schedule, were extremely qualified and did excellent work. The install went perfectly, the 2 men that showed up were "craftsman". They vacuumed up the inside, picked up every little piece of scrap left over, carted away my old windows and overall displayed a high level of professionalism.. Would definitely hire them again. "Based on Angi reviews, we hired Greater Boston Roofing to replace our roof. Project Manager Jeff Nieves was great to work with, provided a very timely estimate, and came out twice to meet and plan. His communication was excellent and accurate. I took a photo of a house with a specialize shingle and Jeff met with owner to learn more about the brand. He researched and learned the shingle was no longer manufactured but he searched further and found a CertainTeed shingle which was a really close match. The crew did a fabulous job and we are really impressed with the quality of the work. They finished in a day and left the site impeccable! Donny was the site foreman and he was great communicating status updates, supervised the workers well and followed up in a timely manner. This is a great company because they are responsive, they provide a high quality of service and they care about the work and doing a great job. I would hire them again."

"Tom and his crew were great! We have a small ranch, and it had been probably 35 years since the kitchen was remodeled. We wanted to have a load-bearing wall removed between the living room and the kitchen, in order to open up the space. The kitchen was gutted to the studs and subfloor. We needed a beam installed to replace the wall. We had the old windows removed and new windows installed. We stayed in the house without a working kitchen or living room while the job was done. Tom and his crew made what could have been a very stressful situation pretty painless. All the people who worked in the house were professional, courteous, careful, and cleaned up after themselves. They took the time to make sure things were done right. Tom was great about keeping us informed about the process - who would be coming each day and what they would be doing. If no one was going to at the house, he let us know why. He recommended quality sources for the kitchen cabinets and for the quartz countertop. He had a flooring guy who was able to match the existing wood floor in the living room so we could run the same floor in the kitchen and down the hallway. That saved us about $4000 from the cost of installing all new wood floors. All in all, we are thrilled with our new kitchen, pennisula and the openness of the area now. We want to have our bathroom renovated and as soon as we have the money, I'm calling Tom to come out and take care of that for us."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Hudson, MA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
