All the reps we dealt with were informative, professional and courteous. The install of 10 windows, including a picture window that replaced 2 standard side by side windows, went without a problem. "Would give no stars if that was possible!! Horrible customer service, poor craftmanship, never an apology when the job was done wrong. Took over a year to get a simple roof and siding job done....still not fully completed. Will not respond to messages. Crews could not communicate in English had to call a 3rd party person for translation. Left work site an absolute mess that we had to clean up. Every time something was mentioned that needed to be fixed had to fight and argue to get someone to come out and fix the issue, workers walked off the job leaving my house to be open to water damage with rain storm approaching, had to secure my house myself from water damage. Every time some one actually came out to try to fix a problem another problem was created. Careless working crew. All about the money but never a quality job. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY BUYER BEWARE!!!"

"Ron & Ryan arrived within their starting time, removed all the old windows and installed the new ones for our basement. "Purchasing windows for your home is serious business...and you will be spending serious money. I met with no less than four different window companies before making a final decision - that is a major investment in time, let me tell you. Some of those presentations were THREE hours long. In the end, it was a pretty obvious choice between two companies - Window Universe and one other unnamed company. That's when I checked out the online reviews...and then I visited the Window Universe office in Lakewood. From there, it was an easy decision. I can't recall reading a bad review. Usually you can find your 5-10% of customers who are unhappy with anything and everything...but those folks weren't out there. Everyone raved about Window Universe. And the salesmen were all so laid back and seemingly honest - they trusted the product and let it sell itself. I had heard the presentations from "the other guys" who had a price tag that was 4x the Window Universe price...and I just wasn't feeling it. I wasn't about to drop $30k on windows when WU offered a quality product with a lifetime warranty, as well. Fast forward to today...two days after the work was completed. Communication during the ordering and manufacturing process was fantastic (thank you, Ellie), and the guys that did the installation were top notch. I felt bad - they showed up early and stayed late - and never took a break or ate lunch. I felt compelled to bring donuts and to run to Starbuck's for a box of coffee to keep them going in the cold and rainy weather, but they didn't mind at all - they were like the Energizer Bunny. Laughing. So I'm very happy with the entire process...from the sales (Chad), to updates (Ellie), to all the guys that did the installation (there are too many names to mention - I wish I could remember everyone!). As I mentioned at the beginning of this review - ordering windows for an entire home is nerve-wracking...but Window Universe made it easy...and they really came through for us. 5-star review, for sure!"

"We are very pleased with their installation of 3 rooms of hardwoods. The transition of hardwoods between the rooms and hallways was flawless. The crew was knowledgeable, and very respectful of our home. All sawing needed was done outside, therefore clean up was impeccable. "The team came on July 22, 2021 to install all new windows in our Port Huron home. The windows were purchased in March, 2021. The WW agent, who sold us the windows in March, spoke of an area that would need a wood molding installed, and that we would need to purchase this, and stain it. The WW team would install it. When the second WW agent came a few weeks later, he told me that no molding would be needed, that no action on our part was needed. We were good to go. I was wrong to believe him, but he was supposed to know what he was doing. Immediately after the windows were installed in July, I inspected everything. Every window, with one exception, has a space, between the window and the frame on the bottom edge, filled with caulk and painted a dark brown. This is on the inside, not the outside of the house. The brown does not even closely match the color of our windows inside. It looks terrible, sticks out like a sore thumb, and is very unprofessional. No one every spoke to me about caulking or ever asked us about the space to fill. Many window frames are badly scratched on the inside as a result of careless installation. Many windows do not easily go up and down, or easily open out and back in. I discovered that the crew had incorrectly installed finishing wood strips on either side of the windows. As a result, most of the windows are too tight to work properly. For this same reason, one window is very loose when you open it towards you. It is not properly finished. One window is a bathroom has a top sash that is different from all the other windows in our home. WW tells me that this is no doubt because the window was broken and had to be replaced by them. Many latches for locking and unlocking the windows are crooked and misaligned. So, 2-3 days after the installation, I contacted WW with these issues. They came out to inspect over three weeks later. It has been a week since they came. Still no word from WW as to the solution. Hmmmm. I like the windows, but bad installation. I'm awaiting satisfaction."
