Josh could have very easily exploited our ignorance and suggested a solution purely beneficial to his company that may not have addressed the underlying cause of the problem. Instead, he demonstrated his integrity by realistically assessing the situation even if it would jeopardize the sale. This is commendable particularly in this era where cutthroat business practices are commonplace. I highly recommend Basement Gurus. Before the job begins he gives a detailed account of exactly what he's going to do and how much his labor costs will be. As well as an estimated time of completion. I have found his labor prices to be very reasonable, and is estimated completion times spot on. He is both efficient but has a wonderful eye for detail and makes sure that everything is right and what we want. I've always found him easy to talk to, he listens to what his client wants but also will give alternate suggestions that I have found extremely helpful. This is the third time I have worked with Billy Myers, and I and my family have been delighted with the results each time. When he is done with a renovation, he stages the room removes all trash and building debris, so everything looks brand new! I can wholeheartedly recommend William Meyer LLC. "I first had windows replaced by this company, and later had my roof and gutters done by them as well. I paid two to three times more than local quotes mainly because of their heavily advertised ?lifetime transferable warranty.? The window was installed first. When it later had a simple closing issue, they pushed the service appointment out to April or May. I ended up fixing it myself. Two years after the roof replacement, this winter I noticed wet spots on my ceiling and wall, and even wet carpet ? something that never happened before. Again, they scheduled the inspection for May and said they were too busy to come sooner. That makes the warranty feel meaningless when you actually need help. The sales pitch was impressive, and they clearly invest heavily in marketing. But based on my experience, the warranty service has been very disappointing. If you are choosing them mainly for the warranty, be cautious."

"To start, power home remodeling(PHR) came at a completely different time than that which I had signed for to start the roof. Next, I believe they put the wrong color roof shingles on, and when I asked for the sample of the two roof shingles I had initially deliberated over,the pictures never came. The workers left debris all over my yard, including hundreds of nails. Part of this was because they did the work with a foot of snow on the ground, which I would never allow again. Also, outlets, wires, and a radon mitigation pump were left exposed to the elements and it did in fact rain before the workers came back. The workers also showed up again for a time other than that which I had signed for when insulating the roof. It is my belief the company is too big and the details go unaccounted for. The end result is very attractive, but I think you can find a company more responsible and certainly much less expensive than PHR. No, I would not recommend them to anyone else. Windows not done."
