"I would highly recommend Herbi-Systems. I've used six or more companies in the past and Herbi-Systems seems to have better chemicals & very knowledgeable associates. Unfortunately, I graded with a B rating due to a temporary technician we had for the past eight months. Our original tech came back recently and our lawn has never looked better. Sometimes you need to determine if the problems you're having are with the lawn service or technician."

"It was excellent. They solved our problem for less than half the costs of all the other estimates I was getting. Every time I had another company out they always wanted me to buy french drains etc., but that was unnecessary. The crew that came out worked very hard, and finished the job in one day. The receptionist every time I call is very friendly as well. They are a great company."

"They did the applications within the right time windows to get the weeds gone and fill in thin spots. I didn't have to be home for the service. It isn't rocket science. So really the best thing for me was being able to call without feeling like I was complaining and say I have a few stray weeds. They come out and spot spray free of charge as advertised without having to get gangster on the phone."

"Overall the service is ok. They are very organized when it comes to starting up and closing down the system each year. Two years ago I redid the hardscape in both my front and back yards and they agreed to adjust the irrigation system where needed. Afterwards, I found them to be quite unwilling to make changes to the system when I mentioned areas that either received too much water or not enough. I sent them a detailed, written list of problems to which they never responded. <br /> <br />"

"since I am a regular customer, I was contacted by email in Feb. about scheduling the start up in April.  It was very easy and my requests were confirmed immediately.  A reminder was emailed to me about a week in advance and the service was performed on the day it was scheduled and at the time I requested. <br />"

"When I had inspected the broken sprinkler, I thought it had broken off from the main hard pipe underground.  When Mr. Cummings inspected the broken end, he also determined the main pipe had also been broken.  So instead of a single repair, it ended up to be much more.  He is very, very honest.  He had to leave and return with a much larger pipe in order to repair the broken large pipe and the broken riser.  I was very grateful he determined there were two breaks instead of just one.  I will definitely call him again for irrigation repairs. <br />"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Atoka, TN

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
