"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"I have been going through a house renovation, and moved a large second hand wolf range into my kitchen. The range was acting strangely, and I called American based on the sub-zero recommendations. Their tech's showed up on time, were CRAZY professional, took extra care with my range/home/surroundings, and made sure to actually fix the problem. They actually diagnosed another issue with the stove (that my electrician and plumber both were scratching their heads about!) and were able to schedule a time to come back and fix that as well. While it was not a super expensive fix, I felt taken care of, and at the end of the day, The situation got resolved in a timely and great manor. I judge service based on the quality of the technicians, and the resolution of the problem: both of which I was really impressed with. These guys will have my business again!"

"The price they quoted me was outrageous, double the price of buying the same new refrigerator. I end up paying for the consultation and not fixing it. I wasn’t suppose to pay the consultation fee, because it is common sense that I don’t pay twice as much the value of a brand new same brand refrigerator, it just doesn’t make sense.(new $1300, repair cost I was asked to pay was $2800)"

"Avoid this company at all costs. This is the only Whirlpool-authorized servicer in the Denver area, which is alarming. They have only two technicians. One of them repeatedly blamed imaginary ?frequency issues? (EV charger, solar panels, utility company) without even touching our KitchenAid oven/microwave combo. We were forced to hire a licensed electrician and Tesla Solar to prove our power was perfect?which it was. Even then, they refused repair because the frequency was 59.99 Hz instead of 60 Hz. After 10+ failed visits and hours on the phone, their second technician finally admitted there was no electrical issue. Whirlpool ultimately decided to replace the unit. Unprofessional, exhausting, and completely avoidable."

"Chad did great work completing our basement design from scratch. Several months later I still have no complaints about the quality of his work. I would definitely hire him again."

"Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."
