When the window passed with no technician showing up, I contacted the company myself, only to be told that the technician would not arrive for another three hours. I should have been notified proactively, rather than having to call to obtain this information. During the visit, the technician informed me that my water heater needed to be replaced at a cost of $12,000. I then requested a second opinion from Swan Plumbing and confirmed that my water heater did not need to be replaced and if replacement were ever necessary, the cost would be $6,500?nearly half of Tipping Hat. I also was told that the membership could be cancelled but when I tried to cancel they told me I had to pay for the whole year."
