"Wouldn’t hire again. I doubt this water heater transition to tankless would pass inspection. Project took almost 2.5x the estimated time to complete among other related issues to not fully understanding the project. Thankfully it works so I hope to avoid Majestic in the future."

"I hired Marine Plumbing Service to replace my kitchen faucet with one I purchased elsewhere and also to replace my home's water pressure regulator. The existing kitchen faucet was shot after 8 years because it loosened under the granite counter and rusted the hardware underneath. That made it wobble mercilessly and allowed water to seep down into the cabinet beneath. I don't have the tools for such a tight space to get at - much less remove - they faucet. Thus my call to a professional. They were able do that removal, install the new (touchless) faucet, and maneuver the battery pack to a spot inside the cabinet to allow easy access for battery replacement. The faucet is installed securely and works as advertised. Additionally, my 9-year-old water pressure regulator was malfunctioning. The problem became apparent when experiencing intermittent high pressure of water at our faucets and toilets. (Sometimes the water pressure was too powerful, other times normal.) Nick Marine made some recommended changes on the placement of the new pressure regulator, having it installed horizontally on a ceiling pipe rather than vertically on the wall pipe where the original had been. He believes that configuration will make it last many years longer. I really won't know how long this one will actually last until 12 or 15 years from now. He set the pressure at 63 psi. So I'm hopeful I now have a long-term solution. While replacing the pressure regulator, they also installed (with my agreement) a new, better quality incoming water on/off value on the piping coming into the house from the street. And Nick offered a few recommendations concerning my water heater to make it safer, actually doing one of the changes without any additional charge to me. His knowledge of residential plumbing standards and quality of workmanship are impressive. His work is not inexpensive, but likely to well outlive that of many other plumbers."

"While pricing was about 15% higher than two other companies, they called us back within 10 minutes of submitting the request and got the work done within 3 days. Also they were more professional and I felt more confident with their company than the others."

"Daryl did a great job! We had a 21 year old water heater and desperately needed a new one installed. Daryl assessed what we needed to install and what we needed to update on his initial visit and agreed on pricing. In day of install, he worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. Thanks Daryl! "

"They were unable to identify or correct the humidity problem (which we discovered they caused) and so hired a forensic investigation which demonstrated that the static pressure testing was far outside of the manufacturer’s specs due to numerous issues including faulty installation. We called and then sent them a list of all of their errors and never received a response. They have shown themselves to be not only incompetent and negligent but demonstrate a callous disregard for their customers."

"We discovered a plumbing leak and the crawl space was flooded. This had obviously been leaking for an unknown period of time due to the plumbing problem. We never had water in the crawl space before. We noticed suspicious mold substance in the rafters and knew we needed to act quickly. We contacted 58 Foundations to evaluate and quote to correct/repair all issues. They inspected and confirmed they could help and that we did have Mold and developed a price quote for the repairs and perform Mold Remediation Services. We signed the contract to move forward asap. They scheduled the work to begin in the next few days. The original contract we signed, detailed the work that needed to be done for a total contract price of $22,011.00. We were notified the afternoon before the work was to begin that they failed to include $4,694.50 in their price breakdown and sent us a revision of $26,564.57. Mold Remediation: We were told a professional crew was to perform the remediation services with proper equipment and protection. Instead, the crew there doing all the other work did it and used no protective clothing, masks, gloves or equipment. They had rags, chemicals and spray bottles. I asked about the Mold crew that was supposed to do this and he said they were not available so his crew did the work. Numerous areas were left undone and when I pointed those areas out, they went back in to treat the areas. Installed a steel stabilizer to replace a wooden support. After installation, the front door had gaps and was sticking and is still sticking. Many other mistakes were made during the work, that I had to bring to their attention to correct/complete. At no time has management shown interest during and after completion of the job and to this date. Upon completion, the tech asked for the check for balance due. We had written it for the balance due of $22,026.022 and he said it was too much that it was only $17,472.65. It took 4 phone conversations with his office to determine the exact balance of the contract Our original contract was $22,011.00 – their revised contract was $26,564.57. At the time of final payment their total was still off by $100.00."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Austell, GA

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
