"I asked for an estimate to repair a broken lock on a garage door. They called me with the estimate and offered to sale me a remote for the Liftmaster. They said the remote I had already purchased was the wrong type and could not be programmed. I have a tenant in the property and they needed a second remote. I agreed to the 322.00 fee though I felt it was inflated. I was told I had to provide a credit card before they did the work. I do not believe I should have been asked for full payment before the work was performed. When I spoke to the manager later to voice my concerns, he said they usually require a "deposit" up front. I also explained to him that my tenant was able to program the original remote I ordered on Amazon for half of what Action charged and I was sold one by this company unnecessarily. He offered me a 10% credit that I have never received."
