"Start to finish, Jose is a pleasure to work with; he is professional, competent, courteous, knowledgeable, experienced, friendly.  Budget was an issue for us and Jose helped us chose a treated douglas fir for our deck.  We met to go over my scale drawing, asking and answering questions.  My plans went to his designer.  Jose submitted the detailed bid via email and we accepted it.  Jose allowed us to work alongside in order for us to lay rock under the deck before they began work.  Although Jose has two work crews, he fit our deck in to his busy schedule by doing the work himself along with two very competent associates.  Jose obtained the necessary house plans from Regional Building and then did all of the work to obtain and manage the building permit.  (We could have saved ourselves a small charge if we had the footprint already on hand.)  Our AC unit had to be relocated and one exterior faucet raised.  The work progressed quickly.  Jose is easy to work with.  Communication was clear and prompt;ly, although we probably drove him a little crazy with our endless questions.  Jose was patient in explaining every step.  The three required inspections went off without a hitch.We LOVE our deck!We highly recommend Jose and Abbas Construction for your next project.  We intend to call him when we're ready for our next project."

"The initial interview and project scoping meeting was a pleasant experience. Matt Gowler is a true professional when it comes to planning. He wanted to know how the space was to be used, who would use it, what our expectations were and special requirements. He drew up a plan that was perfect for us.The construction went like clockwork on the schedule our project manager Ben set up. We were kept informed of progress regularly and all of the materials vendors we met with were fantastic. Picking out cabinets, counter tops, carpet, tile, and paint colors was quick and easy. Their promise was done in 45 days or less and they were done in less than 45 days with a 900 square foot basement. They contacted us today for a followup check of anything that needed to be fixed. They were very pleasant to work with and we were not bothered by workers at all. Ben coordinated everything and made sure it all went right.

"I purchased an Angies' List "big deal" for a Spring Lawn Clean-Up, Shrub Trimming, etc.  Within a day or two, I received a phone call from Steve to set an appointment for the yard work.  We decided that I would call at a later dated to set up an appointment.

Two males arrived in the early afternoon, assessed the work needed to be done and set to work immediately.  They worked for a solid four hours.  Ryan returned the next day and worked very hard to finish the job.  Once completed, he told me all that was done and asked if I was satisfied.  I was extremely happy with the effort that was made.

My only complaint was that an appointment was set for work to commence @ 9 a.m.  I called at 10:30 to inquire when the employees were due to arrive and was told that they should arrive momentarily.  They didn't arrive until approximately 2 1/2 hours later.  If there is a delay for any reason, I appreciate a phone call to let me know.  My time is valuable too!!!  That being said, I appreciate the effort made by Ryan and the other man (sorry that I did not get his name)."
