"this part of it went well: they dismantled the old fan. they assembled the new fan and installed it. This part not so great: After the new fan was installed when I turned on the switch the fan made a humming noise (which the old fan made, too) and it is really annoying. I asked why it was making that noise. they said because the switch is old. I asked if they could change out the switch. No, they don't carry new switches with them. I bought a new switch at Lowes and called White Rhino. It would cost me another $79.00 for them to come out and install the new switch."

"There was considerable mold in the corner of the shower that was not caused by something like a leaky showerhead, so it required professional attention. Shon arrived on time to inspect the problem and then explained exactly what would be done, all according to code. Once I had submitted his proposal to my insurance carrier and was approved, the work was scheduled to be done within a week. First, plastic sheets were hanged in the room to contain the mold spores should they became airborne, then the shower pan and the tiles up to 6' were removed, the mold was remediated, and the shower was rebuilt. It was quite a job so took several days to complete. My tenant is happy, so I am happy. BTW, the insurance company, on further review of my policy, determined that I had no coverage at all for this incident, but Shon was kind enough to give me an Angie's List discount and a little something extra for posting this review. "Mostly very well. The outside of the house was done in a timely fashion once the crew got started. It turned out very nice. The kitchen had some hiccups due to paint color and sheen matching. All in all, Mike worked well with me in getting the job done, and it also turned out well."

"Voltaire handled the electrical work and some of the demo and renovation work. They were excellent to work with on this aspect. They partnered with Sub contractors for the rest and each sub contractor was excellent in their particular trade. If there was an issue it was corrected quickly. All the work completed was top notch. You can't go wrong with Voltaire"

"Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.  
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

"He did such an amazing job! There was any lights or fans in our old farm house. He has to get power from attic to living room. It was not an easy task but he delivered successfully. Our new fans look awesome and the lights really bright the entire room. We love it!"
