"We hired Plymouth Meeting Nursery to completely transform the exterior landscape of our 100+ year-old home, where we live with our three young children and our ever-faithful golden retriever. As a licensed landscape architect, we approached this project with high standards and were looking for a contractor who offered fair, transparent pricing, excellent craftsmanship, and timely execution. Plymouth Meeting Nursery delivered on all counts. The scope of work was extensive and included the demolition of all existing landscaping, a deck, concrete walkways, fencing, and excess soil. In its place, the team installed new fencing, a beautiful cedar pergola, repointed brickwork on our home, irrigation, a synthetic lawn alongside fresh sod and thoughtfully selected plantings, outdoor lighting, a stunning bluestone patio with brick steps and retaining wall, a brick and bluestone fireplace, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen featuring a grill, sink, ice maker, and refrigerator. The project spanned nearly five months, during which a few scope changes arose. Each one was handled professionally and flexibly by John and his team. Their commitment was clear: the crew showed up consistently and kept the momentum going, which we greatly appreciated. We couldn’t be more proud of the results and highly recommend Plymouth Meeting Nursery for your next outdoor project. They’ve helped us create a space that’s not only functional and beautiful—but truly feels like a new extension of home."

"My husband and I are commercial and institutional architects, and we can be difficult clients for residential contractors because we are extremely specific. Andy is one of the rare people who not only meets that standard, but consistently exceeds it. Andy is genuinely a good person. He is honest, fair, and deeply cares about the quality of his work. His communication is effortless. He listens, he asks the right questions, and he makes sure the work is done exactly the way you want it. If an issue comes up, he fixes it without hesitation. If changes happen, he handles them with grace and fairness. There is absolutely no ego, no pushback, just a commitment to doing things the right way. We first hired Andy in 2021 to build architectural block retaining walls, stairs, and a large patio with pavers. The work was beautiful, durable, and incredibly well crafted. In 2025, we brought him back again to build brick pathways and a new stone retaining wall. Once again, flawless. His craftsmansh"

"Quick response, professional, excellent workmanship. While their price was on the high side, I am pleased with the job they did."

"Beautiful construction Attila provided an estimate to build a stamped concrete ramp to our back porch. After the fact Atilla wanted to built it more secure with a footer. He did not charge us, he did beautiful work, and we are super happy with him and his team. We will be doing additional business with Atilla moving forward. One additional thing, weather delayed the job, Attila kept us up to date with his plans. Was a great experience working with him."

"Bruce and his crew were extremely professional and did excellent work. We needed the patio completed by a deadline and Bruce was able to get it done with days to spare. This was a 650 sq/ft patio and all was finished in one week. I would highly recommend Burrell Landscaping for any outdoor patio job. Great work"
