"Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. Talk with Bill about the results you want. Listen to suggestions. Your results will be beyond anything you thought was possible."

"I was nervous about doing a remodel. After reading great reviews I selected DIY Kitchens. My kitchen remodel exceeded my expectations, far more than I could have ever dreamed. Not just because of the high quality of products used. No, I can buy pretty countertops and just the perfect sink at any big-box store. What made this project special were the people DIY have on their staff. I met designer Pasha after sending an email from their website. I knew as soon as I met her that he would be the one who could design an amazing new kitchen for me. That's exactly what he did. He used her considerable talents and skills to imagine a kitchen I could NEVER have conceived. In fact, I looked at the first design and said, "That's it!" Next, I met Jeffrey, their contractor. This is a man who has never uttered the word, "no." He only says, "We can make it happen." Once Anthony came onsite, the project ran like clockwork. His team arrived on time each day, dealt with a curious homeowner (me) who was onsite as well, and left each workday with the site neat and tidy. It was a pleasure to have them demolish my kitchen and build a new one! Contrary to other reports of people who have experienced general kitchen remodel with different contractor nightmares, I can't tell you how grateful I am to Diy Kitchens Baths that this project went so smoothly. I rarely had to make any decisions, I didn't have to worry about mistakes or errors, and best of all, they finished the project when they said they would. "Due to damage to the kitchen floor and a cabinet in my home, I needed to have a new floor installed. I also decided to have the flooring in the adjacent dining room and a nearby powder room replaced while having the work done. I chose KDK Home Improvements after getting work estimates from three different contractors. When he visited to provide an estimate, Dave was polite, answered all my questions, and gave helpful suggestions about the work. Among the contractors that I contacted, Dave was the best at providing the information I wanted without being pushy. His pricing was competitive with the others, but his demeanor and customer service helped me to come to an easy decision to choose KDK.
Once work began, Dave and his crew were hard working, professional and courteous. The quality of their work was excellent, and Dave was diligent about keeping me and my wife informed about his progress. Once the old, damaged floor was removed in the kitchen, it was discovered that there was damage to the subfloor and a portion of the wall that extended beyond our expectation. Dave was quick to provide an additional estimate on the new work and complete the repairs. Throughout the project I was satisfied that the work was being completed in a timely fashion. Dave was always available via phone and email. On completion of the project, the work and prep areas were thoroughly cleaned by Dave and his crew.

"The only regret I have about hiring Travis Graham/Graham Restoration was that I didn't find him sooner!  I needed a variety of jobs done to get our house ready for the market, and Travis was able to take care of ALL of them, quickly and professionally.  He painted the exterior and replaced rotted and dog-chewed wood trim, replaced pickets, replaced damaged siding, replaced boards on our deck, did some gutter repair (actually repaired some guttering that I thought would have to be replaced, thus saving me considerable expense) and did a small plumbing job.  Travis was very responsive to my initial call and follow-up emails.  I needed the work done in a hurry and it was also during that period where it rained for three weeks putting the schedule into turmoil since much of the work was outside.  Travis communicated about what he could/couldn't do because of the weather and looked for openings in the weather to get the jobs done.  For my jobs, he charged an hourly rate plus materials (and I had almost all material on-site) and he does not waste time.  He doesn't hurry but he works quickly and methodically and stages the jobs to get the most done in the least time.  In short, I'm sure I'll have another punchlist once we have a buyer for our house and subsequent home inspection, and I will absolutely call Travis to take care of it."

But they handled the two major changes (new color of paint and adding shower doors) very well. They even complimented me on the new paint color because it broke up the monotony of the first color choice and the new color is very pretty. Great experience!"
