After speaking with Max, I was informed that he typically didn’t repair washing machines only serviced refrigerators. However, Max wanted to know what the issue was with my washing machine. I told him that water was not coming into the machine. He said he’ll give it a shot to try and help me out. Max visited my home and was able to figure out the problem and fixed my machine! He didn’t even charge me a full price because the repair was not extensive! I would definitely hire Max again and refer him to anyone. "Provider was not prepared for the amount of calls this "Deal" would generate and it became impossible to even leave a message.  He did work with email through Angie's list which became our only point of contact.  I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with offers thru the list as they seem to offer very little service and yet are billed as the Big Deal.  Service technician was on time.  He seemed very tired of having to explain how little a "toilet tune up" entailed.  Basically, if you had a loose screw somewhere, he would tighten it--that seemed to be it.  I was fine because eventually he told me what the strange sound I was hearing in my toilet was and that was worth the service call to me.  Probably will not be purchasing another "Big Deal" anytime soon as I'm perfectly capable of wielding a wrench or screwdriver myself.

"Our house was broken into the night before we moved in, and there were several minor issues which needed to be fixed. I researched here on Angie's List and Yari had good reviews and was close. I prefer to use local businesses if at all possible. Yariv was polite and nice to work with. He showed up on time and was very matter-of-fact about the job. This was an insurance claim, so I wasn't worried about pricing too much, but it was very reasonable in my opinion. The only problem I had was when the rains came later on and the shed door expanded with humidity. It started to scrape on the bottom. I could have called him back, but decided to fix it myself and it was no problem. I would not hesitate to use him again for general handyman needs. Thanks!"

"I bought an Angie's list deal for dry wall repair but really they just spread some spackle on it and left it rough. I had to scrape off the blobs of spackle left on the ceiling. My boyfriend could have done the same job. I wanted them to actually replace the dry wall where it was cracking. Mainly they wanted to sell me more jobs and pushed me to sign on with them to get new insulation in the attic. I had them give me an estimate on rain gutters while they were here. Their estimate/prices are very high. I think they have to pay for all those people manning the phones. It sounds like a boiler room when they call."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"I got a great relationship with everyone in the office, including deena and Jason. First off Deena was great, she gave me a like weekly schedule of job and helped me choose all my bathroom stuff through online or even going to Home Depot with me on days she came to job site. The workers were very friendly and respectful when in my house. If there were minor problems they immediately contacted me to inform and I stay updated. Which I thought was great because I like to know what it is going on. I was impressed with how fast things went. I already had my plans approved by city and everything so as soon as I signed contract with them they started a little over a week later! Very good! Fast paced! Friendly staff!!
