"Excellent communication - both about the timing of arrivals or repairs, as well as about the issues with and repairs of the furnace itself. While another company had investigated for multiple visits and finally recommended replacing the entire furnace unit, Punbar spent one visit (about three hours) diagnosing and arrived at the same conclusion as to the underlying issue; however, they recommended replacing only one part, not the entire unit. We followed their recommendation and it has fixed the problem (it's been a week now and the problem of no heat has not recurred). Punbar's repair took less time and cost 25% as much as the other recommendation. In addition, when the manufacturer did not have the part available in stock (after saying that they did have it), Punbar on their own initiative gave us a portable electric heater to use while we waited for the part to arrive. This helped out tremendously during that arctic cold snap, which is of course when our furnace stopped heating. How many A/C companies have gone above and beyond like that for you? They refused to do repair, said I was out of warranty and only tried to sell me a new A/C system. I called JMV Air Solutions. They came out and repaired my condenser unit, which actually WAS under warranty, saving me a great deal of expense. JMV was professional and did great work. I highly recommend their service, and plan to use them again, especially when it comes time to purchase a new A/C system."
