"I needed to address a problem in one corner of my basement before an appraiser came in for a refinance that was in process. I was very appreciative of the companies that responded and fit me into their busy schedules on very short notice. Jason from A Action Waterproofing came by to give me an estimate for basement waterproofing. Two days earlier another company quoted $5,200 -- they would dig up a large bush and 2 smaller plants I had had for years to put in two protective layers (one plastic, one asphalt) for my exterior basement wall, then replace the dirt and mulch. At this point, I was just hoping for a lower quote. Jason let me know 3 hours before his scheduled arrival that he would be running about 1-1/2 hours late because he needed to take his daughter to an appointment, and asked if that would be OK. I certainly respect anyone who puts family first, so it was not a problem. As soon as Jason arrived we went to the basement. He said water was not leaking in and there was just discoloration on the floor with some on the lower wall. All that was needed was to clean the walls, apply hydraulic cement where the floor meets the wall, then paint with DryLok, and I could do that myself. I already had a can of DryLok that had never been opened. He said there was no damage to the interior and exterior walls. He did that during heavy rains there was one location where the downspout from my roof connected to the drain pipe that left my property where water could be released onto the ground, which should be addressed. I was so happy with his diagnosis that I wanted to pay for his call, but he refused. I'll take care of this before the appraiser arrives end of the week. Now just need to see what the appraiser says."

The team lead did an amazing job of explaining to me the work he was going to do, showing me updates, and then afterwards explaining in detail what was done, why it was done, and things for me to look for for in the future. "I had a wet basement ,so i called All Aspect and got an appointment for free inspection right away. The inspector came, was very professional and explained to me what needed to be done. He advised me to have the full perimeter of my foundation waterproofed for best protection against water seeping from outside and from underground. He gave me a reasonable estimate compared to prior contractors and we immediately agreed to sign the contract . it was during a busy season and the job was scheduled to be done two months from the contract date. Luckily one customer cancelled his appointment and i got his spot. The work was done in 3 days. they dug inside and outside around my chimney and installed all those waterproofing stuffs. Since then my basement is dry , and free of mold. I even received a phone call thereafter at that time when it was raining almost every day from the inspector asking me to check around and see if water was still coming in. No, no more water seeping in my basement. Besides All aspect offer you a warranty for the life structure of the house. I'm happy with the job done and I will definitely recommend All Aspect to anyone with waterproofing issue."

"For the most part all went well. The original plan was to install all wall anchors, but they ran into rock around the majority of the foundation. Were very straight forward with notifying me about the problem, was presented with my options and felt as if I was not getting any kind of run-around or bull. The cost was adjusted downward (as the carbon fiber strips are less expensive to install), even though they had dug the holes for most of the anchors. Installation of the strip and the anchors seem to be very well done. <br /> After several rains, the holes for the anchors had sunk down quite a bit. I called the company and they sent someone out to top off the holes. Could have used a bit of grass seed as well, but I'll not knit pick that too much. <br /> The issue I did have was that when they installed the carbon fiber strips, they was an incredible amount of dust from grinding the slots in the walls. I have a large amount of "stuff" in my basement, including a tv, other electronics, excersize equipment, pots, plates, bookshelves, etc... all of which was covered with a healthy coating of dust. When I called to let them know, they told me they were not responsible for cleanup. This would be OK with me had they prevented a good potion of the dust from getting all over everything, but for what I paid for the work, I did not expect to spend days cleaning everything up. I wouldn't mind if we were talking about vaccuming a floor or something, but there was dust in every nook and cranny of an entire basement full of stuff. <br /> All in all, the work was done well and the price was fairly good compared to others I had received. If a bit more care would have been paid attention to the cleanup, or protection of my items, it would have been a very good experience. <br />"
