In the process of installing my new sump pump, back-up sump pump, and sump pump alarm system, it was determined that a new dedicated outlet could not be created due to my existing electrical panel being too small. Thus, I needed to get an electrical panel upgrade. Through JES Foundation, a date and time was arranged to have my new electrical panel upgrade installed. The lead Root electrician Andrew, and his assistant Andy, dd a terrific job installing the new upgraded electric panel. They were both very friendly, efficient, and professional. Andrew afterwards walked me through everything that was done, and answered any questions that I had. They also cleaned up afterwards very well. "Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. "I didn't have work done, but I called to find out about getting an inspection for mold in my house based on a previous leak. I told the person that I wanted to see if they would be able to better a previous quote from another company. I was told I could pay $325 for a mold test or I could have them come out for a $95 service call for them to assess the area and that would come off the total of the estimate if I have the work done. They didn't seem very eager to help and were not overly friendly. Maybe I'm just looking for some better customer service."

"Marty and his crew took about a week to do (right on schedule) and we were extremely satisfied with the work that they did. He cleaned up the workspace every day and was very organized with his work and equipment. Important when they are going to be there for a week and you have small children. A lot of the trim in the house was already custom made and they were able to make the exact same trim as ours and blend it with what we had. This was very important because we have a 100 year old Victorian home and we wanted to match it as best possible. We also had a pillar in our kids toy room and they made a customized enclosure for and it. They blended and matched everything very well.
The most important part of the job was the custom pedestal that they made for our washer and dryer. The floor was severely sloped in our laundry room and we had them build a level pedestal that had a working drain pan in it. They were able to blend it with the rest of the trim in the room and now our washer and dryer are level and we don't have to worry about it being off balance or overflowing onto the floor. We are renting out our house for the next few years and we will keep Paragon Custom Interiors as our all around interior specialist. We look forward to doing business with them again."
