Then they sent us Jake and he did a marvelous job and we loved the way he did all of the work. You need to have more installers with Jakes skills and you will have a very successful business. Because of the unskilled first crew and having to remove their work the job took almost two weeks"

"We had several different companies in mind for our master bedroom flooring project, but we ended up going with Troy at Top Notch Construction! We are SO glad we found him and his crew. Troy came out and did the measurements for our bedroom floor, and he was as able to give me an estimate in writing right away. His estimate for labor and removal of our old carpet (it was nasty, pet stained, etc.) and to install the new flooring was completely fair and doable! We were able to schedule the project within a week of our estimate, and the hey were even able to start a bit earlier and ended the project with my bedroom cleaner than when they started! Our floors look and feel amazing! He provided the trim boards and put down the transition strips between doors and rooms. The entire project from start to finish went way beyond my expectations! I'm going to have him come out for an estimate on our deck next! Again, Troy and his crew were on time, totally patient with me as I picked out the exact luxury vinyl flooring, and he remained non biased about flooring material brands, and that says a lot about a company! "Sadly one of the sloppiest contractors I've ever hired. We had our existing hardwood floors refinished and carpet replaced with hardwood in 3 rooms. It was a very large project, almost 2000 square feet that they finished in 4 days. Then spent an entire next day fixing mistakes. Mistakes like nails in the middle of the floor that was just refinished, many finishing nails left hanging in trim, stain can rings left in multiple places, improper sanding, and leaving areas looking worse than before they started. Mike told me "stop kneeling on the floor because your'e going to keep finding more things wrong." Watch your invoices too. We had two bundles of wood returned because they didn't need them but instead of a credit, Mike charged me for the wood until I caught his mistake. Save yourself the headache and frustration and go with a different contrractor who isn't rushing to get on to the next job and takes pride in the work."

"The flooring is great but the installers didn't plug my chest freezer back in and a $165.00 dollars of food spoiled.. Its going to cost a $150.00 in disposal and cleaning my chest freezer. I'm a 73 year old disabled veteran and going through this aggravation over incompetence is way out of line.My Thanksgiving dinner isn't going to happen this year."

"I was having trouble finding the right company to refinish/restore my vintage Heart Pine Floor - but glad I found AA & H Flooring. It was amazing how thorough Ethel was when she reviewed the possibility of doing the job when she came to the house to provide an estimate. Her team of floor sanders and refinishers were meticulous. If I were to give them a grade of an A or A-plus, I would give them an A-plus-plus!
