We chatted over the phone while Tom was looking at the range. it was so easy and it put my mind at ease, we could fix the beast and be back to baking. Tom sent a follow up email with a link to a tech company that would fix the electronic controller board. He included the specific parts number which turns out was the right one, not the one specified in the manufacturer's online documentation! I shipped the broken parts out. The repaired controller came back just in a few days. The part was installed and range operational before my wife was ready for her morning tea. I hugged the old stove. "EXCELLENT customer service & professionalism!! This is the 2nd time we've used them and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. In the past they cleaned out the air duct work in our home. This time they cleared out the dryer vent pipes which were severely stopped up. Not only did they clear the pipe but they went above & beyond to remedy the problem that caused the clog in the first place! "Ryan proved himself to be knowledgeable and trustworthy from the very beginning. I called several people to get quotes and explained the problem over the phone. He quoted me for his service call and told me what he thought the problem might be based on my description, but also explained and I understood that he could not make a diagnosis over the phone. It did turn out to be what he originally suspected and since it involved my icemaker, which was no emergency, he gave me the choice to pay a higher price for the part that was available at a local parts store and get it repaired right away or to shop around for a cheaper price for the part, which might take a few extra days. I chose the cheaper price and I appreciated him giving me that option. His labor fee was a set price, which was very fair and he disclosed to me up front. I believe a person should be well compensated for a job well done. Ryan does a good job and I will definitely hire him again whenever we need maintenance or repair work for our appliances.
