On the day of the scheduled install they arrived promptly but were unaware they were second floor windows and a third floor repair so he had to cancel. They were able to reschedule another crew the next day and they arrived promptly as well and got right to work. Each member of the team had a responsibility and they worked together perfectly. One of the window openings was not square so the installer had to work longer on that window to make sure it fil just right and slid open without binding. When they completed they did a great job cleaning up."

They managed the time of the installation to fit my schedule and was promptly on time. The work crew was dedicated and finished the job promptly. Since I had some items on the ground that I was worried about, this information was put in the contract to insure that all parties were aware. The clean up was exceptional. I have alerted them that a leak appeared in one area of my eaves trough and they are coming back to repair. Everything else is AOK."

"This was a very involved plaster repair and remediation job, in a very old house. Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. We needed to work around his schedule, because he is in demand in the tri-state area, so it took awhile to schedule the work to begin... but it was worth it."

"So happy we chose R&D for our exterior wall repairs! they were great to work with throughout the process of what turned out to be a complicated issue. Their communication was really appreciated as they dug into things and problem solved some unique issues with how the previous home owners had cut corners on the house. "A new doorknob and lockset was ordered and was supposed to be included with the installation but after the door was installed it was discovered that no doorknob was with the new door. The installer had to go buy the doorknob and return to complete the installation which may have caused him to rush the job because the storm door was not replaced properly . I had to wait about almost a week for the installer to return and fix the problem. I then discovered that the entrance door was also sticking but I did not report this to the company because at this point I was just disgusted not only with the installation but also with the flimsy quality of the steel door which is a thin gauge of steel, very lightweight and very easily dented. This was one of Angie's Super deals that I had paid in advance for without ever checking the quality of the door first. I will never pay up front for any service again.

I have had the same company install all mu home's replacement windows about 7 years ago and I was so completely satisfied that I guess my expectations were too high for the same result with a replacement door.

"Not at all. Your agent could only get me a repair person next Wednesday and today is Friday. The agent did say they are not an emergency repair, but if an important appliance breaks you need it fixed ASAP. For example...this is the middle of a hot summer. If my A/C brakes and your service sets up a repair for a week from now....that means My family & I suffer for a week. I called back and said I need a repair for my dishwasher now. They said they would try to get an earlier appointment...then called back and said it wasn't possible. I guess I was doomed to eat out of paper plates and cups until next week. I called a local repairman and he came today and fixed it. It cost me $110 out of pocket...but it was fixed TODAY!!!!"
