"Great, from the salesman to the owner to the installers. I had an issue with the window trim and after calling they came back and installed new trim. A great company and would not hesitate to use again."

"Everybody was very friendly including the guys that came out to do the work. They did a wonderful job. They measured it and got it installed. I didn't price it out because I was looking for the quality of the door."

"I wish I had used these people earlier. I ordered a part for my dryer and was able through their instructional video to fix it myself. Let me tell you I am "mechanically challenged" in just about every way. LOL I may have cut myself through my own stupidity but I did it. it was easy and I did not have to pay a repair man for a simple fix. Thank you so much!"

"Very easy - called in, explained need, met with person to assess roof and estimate repair costs, scheduled appointment, crew showed up as scheduled and took care of the problem. They get extra points for telling me I should also have a qualified stone mason look at my chimney as it was showing signs of age and the mortar was missing in places."

"A Brinkmann Roofing Company (division of PetersenDean) Rep, Ed Goode, came out and provided an estimate (one of three we got).  He was very professional and answered all our questions.  Ed offered us a discount on the shingles if we used the Oakridge Pro 30s.  According to Ed, Brinkmann had purchased enough of these shingles for an apartment complex job.  However, the job went bankrupt, and Brinkmann had all these shingles. <br /> The crew had to deal with our solar hot water unit installed on the porch roof -- my husband disconnected and reconnect, but they removed it, put down the shingles, and replaced it., with no damage to the unit.  Big plus for them.  The roofers did make a couple errors.  The completion inspection revealed that the crew had not use sufficient amounts of nails to secure the shingles in the valley area where the porch roof met the house roof -- they fixed that.  Inspection by us revealed that they had used a 1.5 inch metal roof edge instead of the 2 inch that was called out in the estimate.  The Supervisor had one of the crew paint the newly exposed roof edge all the way around the house and porch (using paint we had).  They brought only enough plywood to cover one area of the roof that needed replacing.  When they found another small area, we had to supply a piece of plywood we had in the garage so they could complete the shingling.  Three minuses.  They did a good clean-up job, getting all the debris, especially the nails.  All in all, we were pleased with the work done by PetersenDean and this crew. <br /> Even though the shingles were put down in mid-July, with the hot, Texas, summer sun beating down on the roof, it took 6 to 8 months for all the shingles to finally lay down flat.   The shingles are Owens Corning Oakridge Pro 30.  After a couple months, a discoloration of the shingles appeared on the Southwest corner of the roof, under an area shaded by a large oak tree.  Owens Corning said it was the tree causing the problem, not their product.  However, there is an oak tree shading the Northwest corner of the roof, and those shingles have not discolored.   After calling Owens Corning 3 times about the issue, and after being told each time "let's wait 6 months and see what happens", I put the issue on a back burner and will live with the discoloration (it looks like a permanent shadow).  However, I may never use Owens Corning shingles again. <br />"

"A pleasant experience from start to finish. The quoting process was a good two-way discussion, and cordial - no pushy salesman telling you how bad Company X or Y was. Just honest, factual, and straightforward. They quoted us a system with the panels, racking, and inverter which we wanted, not what they were pushing. The quote wasn't the best (hence the 'B' for price) but it did offer the best VALUE when we considered the equipment specification and the stability of the company - an important consideration when looking at a system with a 25 year life! The installation was scheduled by our coordinator, Sherry, and the team showed up when promised and got the job completed on time. Quality of workmanship was first rate and the entire installation was done with care, and tidied away before the team left. Permitting and PG&E inspection were all handled by Sherry, and that was also quick and flawless. Overall, the system they installed easily meets their projections in terms of performance, and it effectively pays for itself. We really couldn't be more pleased with NRG Clean Power and have recommended them to friends and neighbors. We'd recommend you give them your consideration if your looking for solar power."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Beaumont, TX

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
