"David came to the job site, made his evaluation of the problems with the dryer, ordered the parts and a week later set up a time to install the parts. He was very close to that time and texted my when he was 10 minutes away. He also repaired my washer as it was vibrating wildly. He tightened the chassis and now just normal vibrations - nothing wild. He also looked at my garage refrigerator but said it was too old and the parts were no longer available. He did show a trick that is keeping it from freezing everything. Iâ ll keep it until it literally dies. I highly recommend Professional Appliance Repair. I also think the prices were fair and justifiable."

"Technician came out a few days before the job to assess what was needed. Two days later two technicians came and removed the old system and installed in the new one. Job took about 7 hours. They were neat, efficient and very professional. We have had out annual maintenance agreement with them for the last 5 years. I would definitely recommend them!"

"The first company that came out said they couldn't work on the dishwasher because it was an LG made Kenmore and they didn't work on LGs. They suggested Mr Appliance.  I called them and they came out the same day.  The repairman was very good and was able to complete the repair without new parts.  I'll be calling them for all future appliance repairs."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Beaverdam, VA

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
