"HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Comfort Solutions was one of four companies I had out to bid for new AC install. BY FAR, they were the most professional and the most informative. Because they seemed the most "professional", I was expecting their bid to come in way above the others. I was ecstatic when their bid was actually the lowest (by a good amount), because I knew this was the company I wanted on the job. Every step, from initial bid to install, was a breeze. Even the city inspector said "Wow, these guys did a good job." The project was bid accurately and there was no overrun. I couldn't be happier."

"It went great. Installation required two days. The installers were professional and cleaned up well after themselves. The upstairs in our house has only one vent, which is insufficient to keep it cool in the summer. Oregon Heating and Air Conditioning (OHAC) suggested sealing that vent and installing a ductless unit, which would be capable of keeping the upstairs cool in the summer. The old primary unit needed to be replaced, and OHAC suggested a variable speed unit to replace the old fixed speed unit. Everything got installed on schedule and they cleaned up after themselves nicely. The new ductless unit required pipes & wires to run down the outside of the house, and they hid them with a cover which looked good. The new primary unit is much quieter than the old unit, and both new units are keeping the house cool in this hot weather. They should provide a 40% savings in electrical use as well.
The only hiccup was the new thermostat. It behaved strangely, and rather than spend time diagnosing the problem OHAC sent a technician out to replace it right away. The new units are so efficient they qualify for tax credits and rebates. OHAC completed all the paperwork and registered them with the manufacturers, so all we had to do was file the papers. This reduced the overall cost of the new equipment, which was great.
We've been using OHAC to maintain our old heat pump for many years and were always happy with their service and pricing. This experience was consistent with that history.

"It went well. This time it was Anthony Tarr as the technician. He found numerous problems which he showed me including a melted rheostat that was also wired incorrectly and mounted inappropriately. He replaced the rheostat and the thermopile and finally disassembled and cleaned the unit. As he worked he answered my questions about how the unit worked and what the various components were for. Anthony clearly knew his stuff and appeared to be intelligent and perceptive. Whoever had installed the unit had been sloppy; Anthony pointed out exposed, bare 120 volt wires and then wrapped them with insulation and bent them out of the way. He was a pleasant and personable young man. Finally, he advised me to install a CO (carbon monoxide) alarm. I declined his offer to purchase one from Evergreen; found a good one on Amazon.com far less expensive. But, I'm glad he brought it up; with a combustion system as a source of heat, CO is always a risk especially if the installation and venting aren't done correctly. You can't see it or smell it and it can kill you. Maybe the price was what other providers would charge but $574 is a lot of money. Still, I'd hire Evergreen again. Note to customers: make sure your unit is off and cooled down before the technician arrives."

"I hired Glacier HVAC To install a new furnace and water heater. I had interviewed three other companies. I liked the fact that glacier is a small company and the owner Tom did all the scheduling and installation. The work was prompt and very well done. The price was mid range between the other bids. Inspection by Happy Valley was scheduled the day after installation. Tom is a very personable individual who wants to please his customers. He gave me a follow up call after installation and actually brought new filters the next week because he had forgotten to give them to me At the time of installation. I will use his company again for future HVAC needs and would highly recommend him to others."

"Home Pro Heating and Air did an excellent job fixing my A/C. From the moment I called, they were professional, responsive, and straightforward. The technician arrived on time, diagnosed the issue quickly, and explained everything in a way I could understand. The repair was done efficiently, and my air conditioning has been running perfectly ever since. Their pricing was fair, and the level of service was outstanding. It’s rare to find a company that’s both honest and highly skilled, but Home Pro proved to be both. I’m extremely satisfied and would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work."
