"This company and the men that run it are the most professional people I have ever had work for me.They were very prompt with their estimates and iif they said they would call or be there at a certain time they were.No surprises as far as the price, what they said was basically what I paid for. They take such pride in there work and I feel that no job would be too large or small for them to handle. <br />I would highly recommended S&N to anyone that needs any type of construction done at their home or business. <br />They will work again for me and my family! <br />Thanks Josh and Justin!! <br />"

"It was fantastic! They had a really organized crew. The guys set it up and knew exactly what they were to do, and they never missed anything. I called them and the gentleman came out and went over everything with me. He told me exactly what was going to happen and how it was going to happen. I had no problems at all. I priced them before and they were $1,000 cheaper than a couple of other bids that I got. The price was satisfactory, but I think they all charge too much."

"Ed Mullins, owner of New and Old Construction, did the repairs to my kitchen floor, downstairs ceiling, laundry room and guest room floors, and guest bath floors.  The work is gorgeous and his prices very fair.  Ed is a very personable man who I felt perfectly safe having work in my home.  He takes great pride in his work, and does not take shortcuts.  He fixed a few other small problems that he saw as he was working, and charged very little for doing so.  The job was finished in a timely manner.  Although it took longer than the originally estimated, Ed was either here working or maintaining clear communication with me. I was genuinely sorry to see the project end because it was such a pleasure having Ed here.  He seems to be a very honest straight-shooter, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again to tackle any project that I'd have, no matter how big or small. <br />"

"On phone, I mentioned high price for a small deck/ramp. Friends who know about staining said the price was high. Mr. Clymer said, "well then, have them do the job!" I went ahead and agreed to his doing the staining. It looked poorly done. Later on a friend applied a second coat. These people might do other work well, but this was not a good experience."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Beckley, WV

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
